최근 북한학계에서 이룩한 고구려 고고학 성과

국문 초록

21세기에 이르러 북학학계에서는 고구려 유적을 계획적으로 조사발굴하였다. 그중에 고구려 성곽을 집중적으로 조사하고 고구려 벽화무덤 10여 기를 새롭게 발굴하였다. 본고는 새세기에 들어서서 북한학계에서 집중적으로 진행되고 있는 고구려 성곽과 벽화무덤에 대한발굴조사 성과를 요약 소개하였다.북한 사회과학원고고학연구소에서는 2010년부터 5년간 선후하여 평양성 적두산성 안학궁 청암동토성 청호동토성등평양일대의고구려도성유적및주변산성, 황룡산성등남포시 지역의 고구려 산성, 수양산성 등 황해도 지역의 고구려 산성, 운두산성 등 동해안일대의고구려 산성, 통주성 백마산성 릉한산성 등 평안도일대의 고구려 성곽을 체계적으로 조사하였으며 부분구간을 발굴하였다.또한북한고고학계에서는잇달아 고구려시기의 벽화무덤을여러 기발굴하였다. 여기에는민속공원건설과정에서 발견된 민속공원1호벽화무덤, 북한에서 왕릉급으로 비정하고 있는 태 성리3호무덤, 황해북도에서 처음으로 발견된 송죽리고구려벽화무덤, 평양시의 중심지역에서 새롭게 발굴된 동산동벽화무덤, 남포시 용강군에서 발견된 벽화내용이 풍부한 옥도리고구려벽화무덤, 평양시 대성동에서 발견된 대성동34호벽화무덤, 최근에 알려진 호남리18호벽화무덤 등 10여 기가 포함된다.고구려 성곽에 대한 조사를 통하여 종전의 잘못된 수치를 시정하고 새롭게 밝혀낸 고구려산성도있다. 또한새세기에발굴된고구려벽화무덤은고구려역사와문화연구에귀중한실물자료를 제공해 주고 있다.

영문 초록

North Korea’s archaeological community have investigated and excavated the Koguryorelics in North Korea domestic regions systematically since the 21st century. They putemphasis on the Koguryo city sites and more than ten newly discovered Koguryo muraltombs. In this article, I will present a brief introduction of the achievements in Koguryoarchaeology.Since 2010, Archaeological research institute of North Korea Social Science Academy hasdone an orderly investigation in those Koguryo relics for 5 years including the Koguryocapital relics in the region of Pyongyang such as the Pyongyang Fortress, Fortress on MtTaesong, Anhak Palace, Chogam-ri soil Fortress, Chongho-dong soil Fortress etc., theKoguryo mountain cities in Nampho such as Fortress on Mt Hwangyong etc., the Koguryocity sites in the region of Hwanghaenam-do and Hwanghaebuk-do such as Fortress on MtSuyang etc., the Koguryo mountain cities on the east coast such as Fortress on MtUnduand the Koguryo city sites in the region of Pyongannam-do and Pyonganbuk-do suchas Tongju Fortress、Fortress on Mt Packma, Fortress on Mt Runghunand so on.North Korea’s archaeological community has discovered about ten Koguryo mural tombssuccessively including the Folk Park No. 1 Koguryo mural tomb which was discoveredduring the construction process of the Pyongyang Folk Park, the Taesong-ri No. 3 muraltomb which was recognized as “royal cemetery” by North Korea archaeological community,the Songjuk-ri Koguryo mural tomb which was firstly discovered in Hwanghaebuk-do, thenew-discovered Tongsan-dong mural tomb in the central region of Pyongyang, the Okdo-riKoguryo mural tomb in Yonggang, Nampo, the Taesong-dong No. 34 mural tomb inTaesong-dong, Pyongyang and the Honam-ri No. 18 mural tomb which was discovered inHonam-ri in 2013 and so on. By this investigation of Koguryo city sites, we further confirmed the constructionfeatures of the Koguryo mountain cities in North Korea and we discovered some newKoguryo city sites which can provide valuable physical data for the further study inKoguryo’s history and culture.
