광개토왕비 수묘인연호조의 연구현황과 과제

국문 초록

고구려의 왕릉 수묘에 관한 사료로 주목되어온 광개토왕비의 수묘인연호조는 연구의 진전에 따라 수묘 관련 사료로서 뿐만 아니라 고구려의 영역지배 및 그 양상의 변화, 대민파악의실례 등과 관련해서도 중요하게 활용되었다.그동안의 연구를 통해 330가에 달하는 수묘인연호의 수묘대상 왕릉과 구민과 신래한예,국연과 간연의 의미에 대한고찰이 다양하게이루어졌고, 수묘인연호의 매매금지조항에 대해서도 여러 의견이 개진되었다.2012년 7월 발견된 집안고구려비 역시 수묘 관련 내용을 담고 있어 수묘인연호조 연구에충실하게 참고한다면 연구의 진전을 이룰 것으로 기대된다. 이런 점에서 다음에 유의하며연구를 진행할 필요가 있다.우선고구려에는분명히왕릉수묘와관련한‘제도’가있었을것이다. 따라서왕릉을만들고,지키는 모든 일을 전적으로 수묘인들이 담당했다고 보기는 어렵다. 이런 점에서 광개토왕의교언에 따른 신래한예 220가, 장수왕이 덧붙인구민 110가, 또 그 안에서구분되는 구민 국연 10가와신래한예국연20가, 구민간연100가와 신래한예 간연200가를각각쪼개서그숫자의의미를 ‘제도’라는 틀을 염두에 두고 살펴볼 필요가 있다.특히 국연과간연의 의미에 대해서는 특별한 관심을 갖고 연구할 필요가있는데, 수묘인연호조 해석에서 가장 논란이 큰 부분이면서 수묘인의 입역방식과 매매금지 등을 이해하는전제가 되기 때문이다.

영문 초록

The inscription sumyoin-yunho(守墓人烟戶) of the monument of Gwanggaeto the Great(廣開土大王) has been regarded as the only academic resource of grave systems(守墓制度) in Goguryeo(高句麗). Recently, these inscriptions have contributed to our knowledgeof grave systems, the territory, aspects of governance, and the civilian identity of theGoguryeo kingdom. The inscription also supports to understand the academic relationsbetween sumyoin-yunho 330 family and other historical records such as gumin(舊民),sinraehanye(新來韓穢), gukyeon(國烟) and ganyeon(看烟). Another inscription Jian goguryeobi(集安高句麗碑) which has found in July 2012 also provide us important academicresources about grave system(sumyo, 守墓).It is necessary to consider three academic research points to understand historicalaspects of Goguryeo society. First, Goguryeo must have well organized royal tomb systemconsidering the inscriptions. Therefore, those tombs are not simply have managed byordinary people(sumyoin). Second, those 220 examples of sinraehanye in Gwanggaeto theGreat period and 110 examples of gumin in Jangsu-King(長壽王) period must beconsidered by context of 10 gumin gukyeon, 20 sinraehanye gukyeon and 100 guminganyeon, 200 sinraehanye ganyeon in terms of social system. Third, understand themeaning of gukyeon and ganyeon is important to analyze the paradoxical relationshipbetween Sumyoin-yeonho and grave systems in Goguryeo.
