국문 초록

타문화와의 교류 없이 문화의 발전은 있을 수 없다. 이것은 역사적으로 증명된 사실이지만 연구자들에 의해 실험적으로 증명된 예는 드물다. 새로운 관광학의 발전을 위해서 이문화에 대한 올바른 인식은 필요불가결하다 하겠다. 본 논문은 한국인들과 몽골인들간의 상호간의 이문화에 대한 수용태도를 파악코자 시도됐으며 구체적으로는 한국인의 식문화(김치)에 대한 몽골 현지인들의 반응을 분석하였다. 분석의 방법은 연구의 성질상 정성적 서술 방법(qualitative method)을 채택하였다. 실험의 실시는 몽골 울란바토르에서 김치축제를 개최 하였고, 몽골국의 총리실 및 각 부처 소속의 공무원을 초청했으며 응답은 이 축제에 참석한 160명의 공무원들과 직접인터뷰를 통해 작성되었다. 연구원은 김치전문가를 통하여 직접 몽골인들 앞에서 만드는 법을 시연 했으며 결과는 대부분 한국 식문화에 대해 긍정적 태도를 보였으며 남녀별, 세대별로 조금의 차이는 보였다. 이어서 한국인들의 몽고문화에 대한 태도를 분석해 본다면 한층 더 관광산업을 이문화 교류를 통하여 발전시킬 수 있다.

영문 초록

The development of culture without any exchange with others is unexpectable. Though it is a historically proven fact, any experimental proof of it is rare. I believe a right recognition of cross-culture seems indispensable for the development of a new tourism science. In this paper, I made an effort to find out the acceptance attitude toward cross culture in the mutual sense of Koreans and Mongolians. As a specific method, I analyzed the Mongolian natives' reaction to the general Koreans' food culture(Kimchi). I chose the qualitative method with regards to the character of the study. For the practice of the experiment, I held a Kimchi Festival in Ulan Bator, Mongol, and in the event I invited high officials belonging to Mongolian PM's office and other ministry as well. Questionnaires were done by those 160 officials present through direct interviews. Research workers rehearsed kimchi making directly in front of the Mongolians with the help of Korean kimchi specialist. In the result , I caught sight of affirmative attitude toward the acceptance of Korean culture among them, and a little difference in some degrees was shown according to each group divided by sex and age. Following this, an analysis of the attitude of Koreans toward the Mongolian culture, I am sure, can provide a greater help for the promotion of Korean tourism industry through the cross-culture exchange.
