국문 초록

이 연구는 유사한 의미를 지니고 있는 한국어 감정표현 어휘의 의미를 변별하고 이를 한국어 교육에서 유용한 정보로 활용하기 위한 자료를 구축하기 위한 연구이다. 한국어 교육의 현장에서 교사와 학습자들이 유사한 한국어 감정표현 어휘를 가르치고 배우는 데 유용하게 활용할 수 있는 어휘 교육 자료가 부족하다는 기본적인 인식을 바탕으로, 감정표현 어휘, 그 중에서도 ‘아쉬움’의 의미를 가지는 ‘아쉽다’, ‘섭섭하다’, ‘아깝다’를 연구 대상으로 삼아 어휘의 의미와 사용맥락에 대한 정보를 분석하였다. 어휘 분석을 위한 도구로는 이들 어휘의 실제적인 사용 양상을 보여줄 수 있는 한국인 화자의 말뭉치를 사용하였다. 한국인 화자 말뭉치 검색을 통해 ‘아쉽다’, ‘섭섭하다’, ‘아깝다’가 사용된 용례를 감정 발생의 원인과 대상, 사용맥락 별로 유형화하여 이들의 의미를 구체적으로 기술하고자 하였다. 또한, 말뭉치 분석 결과를 바탕으로 한국어 교육 현장에서 교사와 학습자들이 활용할 수 있는 어휘의 의미 설명과 전형적인 예문도 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the present study is to establish a lexical data of emotion vocabulary for Korean language education in terms of meaning and pragmatic use. The study focuses on the vocabulary expressing ‘aswium’. KFL(Korean as a Foreign Language) teachers and learners often have difficulties in teaching and learning emotion vocabularies. One of the difficulties they face is that they don’t have sufficient references which show the appropriate usage of the words and the typical contexts where the words are used. Thus, this study sought to identify the meaning and the typical contexts of the emotion vocabularies such as ‘aswipda’, ‘seopseophada’, and ‘akkapda’ through the Korean native speakers’ corpus analysis. To this end, contexts where each word is used are classified according to the cause and the object of the emotional experiences, and the difference in meaning and distinctive contexts of the vocabularies are described in the study. Also, contextual meanings and typical example sentences of each word are suggested for the actual Korean language education.
