국문 초록

본 논문은 화해에 관한 연구 범위를 산상보훈의 화해명령(마 5:23-24)에만 한정하려고 한다. 화해명령에 관하여는 산상보훈의 강해서들과 마태복음의 주석서들과 소논문들이 역사적-비평적으로 많이 다루었다. 그러나 엄밀한 의미로 말하자면 아직까지 화해명령이 통전적으로 마태복음 전체에서 어떠한 의미를 갖는지, 또 해석학적인 관점에서 그 명령이 어떻게 적용되고 수행될 수 있는지에 관해서는 거의 연구되지 않았다. 이에 본 논문은 이러한 문제의식을 가지고 화해명령을 언어학적, 역사비평적으로 분석하고 그것을 마태복음 전체와의 관련성 속에서 연구하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The reconciliation order is the word of Jesus. This order is transmitted to Matthew through the Matthean Sondergut community. Matthew considered this order to be necessary for his community and combined it to the first antithesis in the Sermon of the Mount. The fact that the order attains a warning character becomes clear by a semantical analysis. According to a syntactic analysis, the contrast between the two imperatives "first be reconciled" and "and then offer" becomes obvious, and the point of this saying is made explicit: reconciliation precedes offering. The audience of this reconciliation order are the disciples and the crowd who are willing to take their cross and follow Jesus. They are to risk their lives in order to obey to it. The category of reconciliation is not only my brothers and neighbors, but it is even expanded to the enemies. Reconciliation is following the example of God whose love is not restricted only to the good ones but also includes sinners. It is at the same time practising mercy which God prefers to offering. Reconciliation is the realization of loving your neighbor which aims to the community of love, and is the shortcut to peace. This reconciliation cannot be achieved by our ability only. It is only possible when Immanuel is realized in us. We Christians have to obey this order in our brotherly community, and fulfill reconciliation and make peace within us, then we, being the light of the world, will illuminate the darkness of the world. The people who lived in that darkness will see the light and learn to walk the way of reconciliation and peace. And by doing so, with the light of reconciliation and peace, the world will become, more and more, a brighter place.
