군 간부 및 병사의 상담에 대한 인식

국문 초록

본 연구는 접경지역(GP, GOP)에 근무하는 병사 및 간부를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 군 상담활동의 실태를 확인하고 보다 적절한 방향을 제시함으로써 접경지역(GP, GOP)내에서의 특수한 임무를 성공적으로 달성시키고 개개인 장병들이 맡은바 임무를 충실히 수행함은 물론 자아발견과 자아성장을 촉진하도록 도움을 주려는 목적으로 수행 하였다. 이를 위하여 경기도 파주, 연천, 강원도 철원 등의 DMZ 안의 접경지역(GP, GOP)내 약 15개 부대의 간부 61명, 병사 227명을 대상으로 상담실태, 상담요구사항 및 만족도, 활성화방안 등의 자료를 수집하여 빈도분석 및 교차분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 첫째, 군 상담실태는 상담실이 아닌 사무실이나 기타장소에서 상담을 하고 있으며 병사들은 상담안내를 잘 받지 못하고 있는 것은 물론, 상담이용을 할 경우는 전입이전 등 의례적인 경우가 가장 많아 아직까지 병사들의 상담이용이 비자발적이거나 효율적이지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 군상담에서의 요구사항은 병사는 간부의 진솔성 있는 상담태도, 비밀보장을 요구하였고, 상담이 형식적으로 이루어져 만족하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 간부들의 경우 과중한 업무량과 전문성부족에 어려움을 느끼고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째 군 상담활성화 방안으로 상담을 할 수 있는 개방적인 분위기와 다양한 기회, 정보제공, 전문상담관의 배치, 상담자의 전문적 자질, 이를 위한 전문교육기회 제공, 진솔성, 비밀보장 등을 언급한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과들을 통해 접경지역(GP, GOP) 군상담의 활성화를 위한 논의와 연구의 의의 및 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The principle purpose of this study is to facilitate and to promote successful missions in the near-boarder units as well as the development of each individual's self-awareness by surveying the actual condition of the counseling in the area specified. The survey and the analysis was done on subjects of 61 officers and NCOs and 227 enlistees in 15 near-boarder units located inside the Demilitarized Zone, such as Paju, Yeoncheon of Gyunggi Province and Cheolwon of Ganwon Province. The result of the study was obtained through a frequency-analysis and a cross-analysis using SPSS 17.0. The results are as follow. First. As for the location of the counseling, an unit headquarters office or and officer's lab were the most prevalent, which was followed by a counsulation room. The soliders can not use counseling , either if they use counseling most solider move to other army, so they cant use counseling program useful. second, the soliders want to serious conversation with secret program. but they don't think the counseling program helpful for soliders. and the military officers feel difficult with so tight and heavy work and not professionality. Third, the counseling program can developing with openmind mode, other opportunity and professional counseller, last one is promise the secret conversation. this report can develop the perception of counseling among military officers, NCOs and Enlistees near by unit GPs, GOPs.
