영문 초록

Phytochemical examination of the leaves of Alnus hirsuta, one of the indigenous Alnus species grows in Korea, has led to the isolation of one flavan 3-ol and two flavonol glycosides. Structures of these compounds are identified as (-)-epicatechin (1), quercetin 3-O-beta-D-galactopyranoside (2), quercetin 3-O-beta-D-glucuronopyranoside (3) by means of physico-chemical and spectral evidences.
