영문 초록

This study was to identify relationship between wellbeing attitude and Korean menu selection attributes among Korean restaurant guests. From the literature review, wellbeing attitude and Korean menu selection attributes were discussed. In order to collect the data, the survey questionnaires were distributed to the Korean restaurants guests of department stores in Kangnam Gu, Seoul. A total of 184 useful samples were collected from 4 different Korean restaurants in department stores, and analyzed in SPSS Win Ver. 11.5. The results of data analysis showed that four underlying dimensions (wellbeing product purchase, wellbeing life, wellbeing function, wellbeing activitiesl) of wellbeing attitude, and four underlying dimensions (cooking & food materials, menu selection, food quality, promotion) of Korean menu selection attributes were determined from exploratory factor analyses. Canonical correlation analysis was employed to verify research hypothesis. Research findings revealed that there were significant canonical correlations between all four wellbeing attitude factors and cooking & food materials factor and food quality factor out of four Korean menu selection. And implications of these results were examined.
