국내 기업들의 AEO 인증 획득 이후의 업무개선 효과에 관한 실증 분석 연구

국문 초록

오늘날의 기업들이 글로벌 기업들과의 경쟁에서 생존하기 위한 전략 수립이 불가피해지면서, 공급망 사슬에서의 물류보안 제도 구축을 통한 안전관리를 강화하고자 많은 노력들을 강구하고 있다. 이러한 측면에서 국내에서도, AEO(Authorized Economic Operator)제도를 도입함으로써 물류보안을 강화시키고자 하는 노력을 민ㆍ관이 공동으로 시행하고 있다. 하지만 AEO 제도의 활성화 추세에도 불구하고 인증 이후의 개선 효과에 관한 실증 분석은 거의 이루어지지 않았고, 물류기업과 화주기업의 개선 효과 차이에 관한 실증 분석도 실시되지 않았다. 이러한 배경하에 본 연구에서는 AEO 인증을 획득한 기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 두 집단 간에 인증 이후의 업무 개선효과의 차이를 비교 분석하였다. 이를 위해 선행연구를 통해 인증의 효과에 관한 항목을 추출하고 4개의 요인으로 그룹화 한 이후에, 설정된 가설을 독립표본 t-test를 이용하여 분석 하였다. 분석 결과 두 집단 간에 수출입 업무의 개선의 수준과 재무적인 성과의 수준에서 차이가 발생한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 공급망 안전을 강화시키고 기업의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 일환으로 AEO 제도를 도입 하고자 하는 물류기업과 화주기업에게 보다 현실적인 인증 효과를 제시하고 관계당국에서 인증 기업에게 혜택 증대를 위한 정책개발 수립에 현실적인 시사점을 제공했다고 하겠다.

영문 초록

With the serious competition among companies in today's global market, it has become inevitable for companies to establish strategies to affirm their standing. This can result in efforts to establish strategies to reconstruct the security guidelines in order to reinforce supply chain security. Korea's domestic market is also in the process of reinforcing the supply chain security through the adoption of the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) system. Despite efforts to invigorate the AEO system, not much empirical testing has been done on either the improvement effects upon the system's adoption or the differences on how its adoption affects the logistics company and the customer. This study conducts surveys on the logistics company and the customer in order to compare and contrast the effects of the AEO adoption on the operational aspects. The study was preceded by a pilot study which categorized the system's effects into four major groups. This was followed by a hypothesis and an independent sample t-test, resulting in this study's final analysis. The study showed substantial differences in the operational improvement standards and financial achievements between the two groups. It can be said that this study has become the starting point in the AEO system's expansion by providing the practical benefits of the system's adoption for both the logistics company and the customer.
