국문 초록

구약과 신약의 중심에 서 계신 예수께서 다문화에 대하여 어떠한 관점을 가지고 사역하셨는가를 연구하는 일은 의미 있는 일이다. 과연 예수께서 행하신 사역에 다문화적 관심이 있었는지, 그리고 있었다면 그 다문화적 리더십의 특징들은 어떻게 나타났는지를 살펴봄으로써, 오늘날 현대에도 적용할 수 있는 보편적 원리를 찾아볼 수 있기 때문이다. 예수님의 상호문화적 배경은 다중 문화적 경험과 이해에 있었다. 예수께서 근본적으로 헤브라이즘 문화권에서 자라셨음을 보여준다. 뿐만 아니라, 예수께서는 헬레니즘 문화권에서도 영향을 받으셨는데, 그가 자라셨던 나사렛이 세포리스라고 하는 헬라권 도시와 가까운 거리에 있었으며, 공사역 초기에 가버나움을 전도사역의 전진기지로 삼으셨다는 사실은 우연한 일이 아니었다. 또한 공사역 초기와 말기에 보여준 데가볼리 지역의 헬라인들에게 복음을 전한 일들이나 부활의 메시지를 헬라인들이 알아들 수 있는 종교적 이야기로 설명하고 계신 점 등은 예수께서 헬라문화권에 이미 익숙하셨음을 보여주는 증거이다. 이는 예수께서 헤브라이즘 문화권과 헬레니즘 문화권을 통합하는 문화의 통합권자로서 이 세상에 오셨음을 보여주고 있다. 이러한 예수님의 상호리더십의 특징은 첫째, 예수님의 리더십은 다중 문화적 환경에서 형성되셨다는 점이다. 둘째는 전도사역을 통해서 자신의 상호문화적 리더십을 드러나셨다는 점이다. 셋째로, 상호문화의 통합을 목표로 하는 구속사적 리더십이셨다는 것이며, 넷째로, 종교문화의 차이로 인하여 깨어진 인간관계를 메시아적 사역을 통하여 극복하게 해주는 메시아적 리더십을 보여주셨다. 마지막으로, 타락한 종교문화에 대하여 동화나 수용이 아니라, 포용성을 보여주는 리더십이었다는 특징이 있다. 한 문장으로 규정한다면, 예수님의 리더십은 ‘메시아적 구속사적 문화 통합형의 전도를 통하여 발휘된 포용적 리더십’이었다고 규정할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The background of Jesus’ intercultural leadership is from His experiences and understandings of different various cultures. During the times of Jesus in Palestine, the following were several common languages: Aramaic, Greek, Latin and the biblical Hebrew language. Jesus was born and raised under the culture of Judaism, also called Hebraism. It is also clear the Hellenism culture influenced Jesus. Foremost, Nazareth, His hometown, was closely located to Seporis, which was not one of the ten city, the Decapolis, in the Bible, but still a certain Hellenstic influenced city. From the basis of archaeology since 1983, Nazareth was located within one hour walking distance from Seporis. Secondly, Jesus purposely set the base camp in Capernaum in His early public life. During the time, Capernaum was a connecting city between the Mediterranean Sea to the travels of Rome and its inlands. It was only natural for many transits to exist in that location. According to the paper, it reached at a conclusion of that shows several features for Jesus’s intercultural leadership as followings: First, Jesus’ intercultural leadership has formed under intercultural society environment. Secondly, Jesus shows His intercultural leadership has exposed through His evangelizing work. Thirdly, His leadership was the redemptive leadership, integrating all the cultures, such as the Samaritan, Canaan, Hellene and Hebrew. Fourthly, Jesus' leadership shows the true reconciliation to overcome conflicts or tensions that makes broken relationship among people, by that formed all the different religious cultures. Lastly, Jesus' leadership shows not the adaption or the accommodation but the integration for the fallen secular religious cultures. In concluding, it would be defined that Jesus' intercultural leadership is the Redemptive Integrated Messianic Leadership.
