직업훈련이 준ㆍ고령기 고용에 미치는 효과 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 직업훈련 경험이 개인의 준ㆍ고령기 고용에 미치는 효과 분석을 그 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 2차자료를 이용한 사회조사 연구로 설계되었으며 한국노동연구원에 의해 조사되어진 한국노동패널 1차년과 2차년 자료가 분석되었다. 분석대상자는 55세 이상 준ㆍ고령자 중 직업훈련경험이 있는 100명으로 구성되었다. 연구결과, 직업훈련경험자는 직업훈련비경험자와 비교해 상대적으로 유의미하게 높은 고용률을 보였으며 로지스틱 회귀분석결과 직업훈련경험은 준ㆍ고령자의 고용여부를 예측하는 것으로 나타나 직업훈련이 준ㆍ고령자의 고용에 미치는 유의미한 영향력이 검증되었다. 또한 직업훈련경험에 따라 취업직종과 취업형태 등 준ㆍ고령 근로자의 고용상태에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 공변량 분석결과 직업훈련경험은 월평균 임금수준에 유의미한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 직업훈련의 장기적 효과를 고찰한 본 연구는 준ㆍ고령자 고용촉진 대책으로 부각되고 있는 직업훈련의 효과에 대한 실증적 자료를 제공한다는 점에서 그 의의를 찾을 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of job training on employment of Korean elderly persons aged 55 or older. This study was designed as a survey study using the first and second weave of Korean tabor Panel Study by Korean Labor Research Institute. The subjects consisted of 100 who had been experienced a job training. Results showed that those who having a job training experience was significantly more likely to be employed than their counterparts. The results of a logistic regression revealed that job training was a significant predict variable for employment status. Also, employment conditions varied based on job training experience. Moreover, the average of monthly wage was significantly different between those who taking a job training and those who did not. However, employment conditions did not significantly differ by organizations of job training, fields of job training, providers of job training cost, and periods of job training, meaning that characteristics of job training did not significantly effect on the conditions of employment. The significance of this study was that the findings from this study provided existential and basic information to guide an effort to build effective and systematic policy of job training for elderly.
