국문 초록

본 논문의 목적은 디지털 미디어 시대의 대표적인 부적 현상이라 할 수 있는 인터넷 중독, 그 중에서도 사이버섹스 중독과 청소년을 중심으로 사이버섹스 중독의 개념과 현황, 이용 실태, 그리고 이에 기초해 우리 사회가 향후 구안해야 할 예방적 치유적 방안들에 대한 탐색에 있다. 연구 결과, 사이버섹스 중독의 개념은 과학 기술 발전의 양상에 따라 현재진행형이라 할 수 있지만 사이버 음란물에 대한 과도한 몰입에 따른 일종의 중독적 현상이라고 할 수 있고, 현황과 이용 실태 역시 위기적 상황임을 논의하였다. 특히 사이버섹스 중독과 같은 현상은 치료적 관점보다는 예방적 관점에서의 대응이 효과적이며 성에 대하여 온라인과 오프라인 즉, 이 둘 삶의 세계에 대한 균형과 조화의 능력을 청소년들이 갖추도록 하는 것이 중요함을 밝혔다. 구체적인 예방적ㆍ치유적 방안으로는 사이버섹스 중독에 대한 진단 도구의 개발과 함께, 중독내담자에 대한 전문가 양성은 물론, 가정 장면에서의 부모 개입 전략, 학교장면에서의 개입 전략, 사회장면에서의 개입 전략을 논의하였고, 공급자 중심의 자율적 규제 방안 및 법률적ㆍ기술적 규제 방안 등이 향후 과제로 대두됨을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine Internet addiction, one of the major negative phenomena in the digital media era, especially cybersex addiction and more specifically teens' cybersex addiction, in terms of concept, current state, and uses. It also aimed to explore ways the society should devise to prevent and cure the addiction. As a result, the concept of cybersex addiction has been changing according to advancements in science and technology. It is a kind of addictive phenomenon caused by excessive immersion into obscene materials on the Internet. The results about its current state and uses reveal that it is a crisis going on. It is more effective to take a preventive perspective than a healing one when dealing with such a phenomenon as cybersex addiction. It is important to help adolescents pursue balance and harmony between the two worlds, namely on- and off-line world, with regard to sex. The study also discussed specific preventive and healing plans including developing a diagnosis instrument for cybersex addiction, educating experts to help addiction patients, and devising a strategy of parental intervention at home, an intervention strategy at school, and an intervention strategy in the community. Future tasks regarding cybersex addiction were also discussed including supplier-based autonomous regulation and legal and technical regulations.
