국문 초록

박세영은 월북 이후 일제시기 카프의 정통성을 이어받아 북한문학의 형성 과정에 중요한 역할을 담당하였다. 월북한 문인들 대부분이 한국전쟁 이후 숙청된 것과는 달리 체제의 시인으로 1980년대 말까지 북한시단의 중심적 위치에 있었다. 그러므로 그의 시는 북한 시문학 전체를 통시적으로 읽어내는 중요한 지표가 된다는 점에서 그 문학사적 의의가 크다. 따라서 본고는 그의 시에 구현된 북한 시문학의 총체적 흐름을 개괄적으로 정리하는 데 중심을 두었다. 각 시기에 산출된 박세영의 시를 통해 본 북한시의 양상은 당의 정책과 김일성의 교시에 의해 조금씩 변화의 모습을 보여주었다. 큰 틀에서 살펴보면 당성, 인민성, 노동계급성이라는 북한의 주체문예이론과 당 문예정책을 그대로 반영하였지만, 어떤 면에서는 북한문학사를 오히려 선도해간 측면도 있었다. 이처럼 박세영의 시세계는 북한의 문학세계와 함께한 북한문학의 역사와 마찬가지이다.

영문 초록

Park Se-Young succeed to a legitimacy of KAPF after his going to North Korea, and played an important role in shaping the literature of North Korea. Though most of the literary men who went to North Korea were purged after the Korean War, he was in the central position of the poetic literary circles of North Korea as 'a poet of regime' until the late 1980s. Therefore, it is possible to say that his poetry is of great significance in the North Korean literary history in that his poetry is a key index which enables us to comprehend the whole North Korean poetic literature diachronically. Consequently, this study concentrated more on arranging the overall flow of the North Korean poetic literature generally which was shaped in his poems. The North Korean poetry in view of the Park Se-Young's poems in each period shows a changing face little by little by way of the Kim Il-Sung's teachings. In general, his poetry just reflected Juche literary theory of North Korea emphasizing Communist Party, people, working class and the literary policy of the North Korean Communist Party. On the plus side, his poetry led the way of North Korean literary history. In conclusion, it is no exaggeration to say that Park Se-Young's poetry went alongside the North Korean literary spheres, and also that it is just like the North Korean literary history.
