국문 초록

본 연구는 현행 초등교사 임용시험의 문제점을 진단하고 개선 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 교대재학생, 현직교사, 교대 교수를 대상으로 설문조사하여 분석하였다. 조사 결과를 종합하면, 첫째, 1차 교직논술의 경우, 교육학 특정 영역에 대한 평가로 인한 평가의 타당성 부족 및 지엽성 문제를 극복하기 위해 문항 수 및 시간 증배, 서술형 형식으로의 전환 등이 필요하다. 둘째, 1차 교육과정의 경우, 특정 용어 중심의 단순 암기력에 의존하는 문항 출제를 지양하고, 종합적 이해 및 적용 능력의 평가를 위해 기입형의 비중을 축소하고 서술형 문항의 비중을 증배하는 방안이 요구된다. 셋째, 2차 교직적성 심층면접의 경우, 형식화된 면접 문제나 시간 부족 문제를 고려하여 면접 시간의 증배 및 추가 질문과 응답이 가능한 심층면접 체제로의 전환이 제안되었다. 넷째, 2차 교수ㆍ학습 과정안 및 수업실연의 경우, 수험생의 심리적 부담과 우연성 문제를 해결하기 위해 과목 선택제를 도입하고, 수업실연의 시간 증배 방안이 제안되었다. 다섯째, 영어 면접 및 영어 수업실연의 경우, 수업능력의 평가와 중복되며 영어 구사 능력 평가의 타당성 부족을 해결하기 위해 영어 면접 및 영어 수업실연의 폐지 및 대체과목 이수 방안이 제안되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to diagnose the status and problems of the current Elementary School Teacher Recruitment Test(ESTRT) and to find opportunities for improvement. To achieve this, students in teachers' universities, teachers and professors were surveyed about the problems with the ESTRT system. Five main recommendations were drawn from the survey results, First, in the case of the first round discussion-type exam, to overcome the lack of validity of evaluation goals and excursiveness, those surveyed recommended an increased number of questions and time to answer them, along with a shift to a descriptive type approach. Second, regarding the first round curriculum exam, respondents proposed reducing entry type questions in favor of enforcing comprehensive understanding and application capabilities, and that the exam increase its proportion of descriptive questions. Third, in the case of the second teaching job aptitude in-depth interview, it is proposed that the exam format change to an in-depth interview, thus allowing for a longer interview time and the ability to add additional questions. Fourth, regarding the second round teaching learning plan preparation and class demonstration, 'Subject Selection' is proposed, considering the psychological burdens of teaching and the contingency of candidates. Finally, in the case of the English-language interview and English class demonstration, it is proposed that the English class demonstration be eliminated, or that an option to complete a demonstration on a substitute subject be offered.
