국문 초록

본 연구는 한국의 경기도와 일본의 요코하마시에서 실시되고 있는 초등학교 초임교사연수의 체제 및 연수에 참가한 초임교사의 의식을 비교ㆍ분석하여, 양국 초임교사연수의 개선과 초임교사 지원에 관한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 양국은 연수의 체제와 내용면에서 다소 차이를 보였으나, 연수에 대한 초임교사들의 의식은 상당한 유사성을 나타내었다. 한일 초등학교 초임교사연수를 비교 분석한 결과를 토대로 초등학교 초임교사연수와 지원에 대한 시사점을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초임교사 간의 네트워크 구축이 필요하다. 둘째, 초임교사들의 교직적응과 직무능력향상을 위하여 그들의 요구에 귀를 기울일 필요가 있다. 셋째, 선배교사에 의한 지원체제의 구축이 요구된다. 넷째, 교내연수 시스템으로서 멘토제도의 구축이 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is to provide a foundation how to improve and develop the training program, which is designed for newly appointed elementary school teachers and managed by Korea and Japan. This study is for analysis of teacher's training program and interviews with trainees about the newly appointed elementary school teachers training program in Korea and Japan. The surveys are based on the results of the interviews with ten newly appointed elementary school teachers from Gyeonggi-do and Yokohama-shi. According to the interviews with teachers both from Japan and Korea, they argued similar points even though they were from different teachers training program. As a result, following suggestions are raised on the elementary school teachers program. First, networking between newly appointed teachers is emphasized in order to share their ideas. Second, voices of newly appointed teachers should be more applied to policy-making processes in order to make more influential program for their adjustment and improvement at working fields. Third, wide range of supports from senior teachers in each school should be more motivated. Finally, since the most newly appointed teachers requested, face-to-face mentoring program are needed.
