영문 초록

This study aimed to compare and analyse the competitive power in the IT industries in both Korea and Pakistan. For this purpose, this study measured the Trade Specialization Index (TSI) and the Revealed Comparative Advantage(RCA). This study targeted the manufacturing industries and the entire IT industries from 2008 to 2012 to analyse the trade competitive power. As a result of measuring the international competitive power, it was discovered that the Korean IT industry usually specialized in exports and the export specialization in the Pakistani IT industry was very high. As a result of measuring the RCA, it was discovered that the IT industries of both countries was comparatively advantageous but the RCA of the Korean IT industry was much higher than that of Pakistan.
