전산화 인지재활 프로그램(코트라스)이 뇌손상 환자의 시지각에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 전산화 인지재활 프로그램인 코트라스가 뇌손상 환자 중 시지각 장애가 있는 환자들의 시지각 능력 회복에 임상적인 효과가 있는지를 알아보기 위함이다. 이를 증명하기 위하여 시지각 장애가 있는 뇌손상 환자 30명을 대상으로 그 중 15명은 코트라스로 전산화 인지재활 훈련을 18회 받았고, 나머지 15명은 대조군으로 참여하였다. 처치 집단과 처치 전후 시지각 능력의 변화를 알아보기 위하여 사용한 시지각 평가도구는 Motor-Free Visual Perception Test(MVPT)와 Lowenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment(LOTCA) 중 시지각 세부영역을 사용하였다. 실험 결과 실험 집단이 통제 집단보다 MVPT 점수가 높았고(p＜.01), 코트라스처치 전보다 처치 후에 평균점수도 높았다(p＜.01). LOTCA의 시지각 세부영역에서도 실험집단이 통제집단보다 평균점수가 높았고, 처치 후가 처치 전보다 평균 점수도 높았다(p＜.01). 특히, 대상재인과 공간지각에서 코트라스의 효과를 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 코트라스가 뇌손상 환자의 시지각 능력을 회복하는데 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 향후 다양한 환자를 대상으로 다양한 인지영역에 대한 효과를 검증할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study was to verify the clinical effect of a Korean Computer-based cognitive rehabilitation program(called CoTras) for recovering the visual perception in CVA and TBI. For this purpose, 30 stroke and TBI with visual perception disorders participated in a clinical experiment to verify the effect of CoTras. They were randomly assigned to CoTras Group(15 participants) and Control Group(15 participants). All participant were evaluated with two standardized assessment tools(Motor-Free Visual Perception Test; MVPT, Visual perception areas of Lowenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment; LOTCA) before and after the planned intervention sessions. Visual perception interventions were intensively carried out for 6weeks, 3times a week. The results were as follows. CoTras Group improved significantly compared to the Control Group for Visual perception(MVPT, visual perception areas of LOTCA). CoTras Group showed significant differences after the interventions. Specially, CoTras Group showed positive effects on object recognition and spatial relations. Further studies are needed to verify the effect on various group and other cognition areas.
