인류무형문화유산 판소리의 원형 보존과 창조적 계승

국문 초록

판소리는 문화콘텐츠 산업의 중요한 창작소재이며 고부가가치 재화를 창출하는 상품화 창작 소재(creative commercialization mater)의 가치를 지니고 있다. 한국의 중요무형문화재 제5호인 판소리는 2001년 선정된 종묘제례악에 뒤이어 2003년 11월 7일 유네스코 제2차 「인류구전 및 무형유산 걸작」(UNESCO Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity)으로 선정됨으로써 전 인류가 공유해야 할 문화유산으로서의 가치를 증명한 바 있다. 이러한 전 인류의 문화자산을 보호하고 유지하며 보다 더 많은 사람들이 향유하기 위해서는 어떠한 노력이 강구되어야하는가 하는 문제의식을 기반으로 본고는 집필된다. 특히 본고가 추구하는 궁극적 목표는 인문학적인 원형보존과 전승 연구를 바탕으로 하여 그것으로부터 출발하는 문화자원학적이며 문화콘텐츠 산업적가치의 활용성을 모색하려는 것이다. 문화콘텐츠의 창작소재로서 무한한 개발 가능성을 내재하고 있는 판소리는 고부가가치 산업 질료로 활용 가공하여 세계시장을 개척할 수 있는 대표적인 민족자산이다. 따라서 다양한 문화예술적 양식으로 패러디되고 리메이크되어 문화콘텐츠 산업의 영역인 뮤지컬 리브레토, 영화 시나리오, 애니메이션 시나리오와 같은 다양한 양식으로 2차, 3차 저작물의 생산을 유도하고 판소리가 변화하는 시대상에 맞춰 당대의 문화매체와 대중들의 문화적 취향을 반영한 창작소재로서 큰 활용가치를 가질 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Pansori is the important material for creation in the cultural contents business, and it creates high value, in other words worth as creative commercialization master. Pansori, an important intangible cultural asset, was selected as the one of the second UNESCO masterpieces of the oral and intangible heritage of humanity in November 7th, 2003. after royal ancestral rites music selected in 2001. It proves its value as the cultural asset which human should share in the world. This study is from the critical mind, what we should do, so that more people can preserve, maintain, and enjoy cultural asset. Especially the ultimate purpose of the study is to research the potential of Pansori as cultural resource and industrial worth in cultural contents business, based on study of humane transmission and preservation. Pansori is the national representative asset, which can be utilized as the material of high value industry that involves infinite development potential as creative material of cultural contents and cultivate global market. As it is parodied and remade for various cultural formats, it induces to produce the 2nd and 3rd works as the variety of form such as musical libretto, film scenario, and animation scenario belonging to cultural contents business. Therefore Pansori can have the utilization potential as creative material for high value product keeping pace with rapid change and reflecting current cultural media and popular taste.
