중국희곡과 한국창극 비교

국문 초록

중국의 경극(京剧)과 한국의 창극(唱剧)은 두 나라를 대표하는 전통공연예술이라고 할 수 있다. 중국전통공연문화원형인 희곡(戏曲)은 정식화(程式化)와 허의화(虚拟化)라는 독특한 특징을 가지고 있는데 이 두 특징은 희곡(戏曲)연기양식과 무대공연양식을 비롯해, 음악, 의상, 도구, 소품 등 중국전통희곡(戏曲)예술 전반에 걸쳐 막대한 영향을 미치고 있다. 정형화되어 있는 연기양식의 틀과 무대 실물(实物)을 생략하는 연기 양식의 결합은 중국전통희곡(戏曲)이 다른 예술과 다른 독자적인 특징을 갖게 한다. 창극은 판소리를 기초로 형성된 예술로 한국을 대표하는 전통공연예술이라고 할 수 있다. 그러므로 판소리는 창극 배우가 반드시 익혀야 하는 기본이 되며 연기의 기초가 된다. 판소리에서 창극으로 공연 양식이 변하면서 창극은 판소리의 전통 설창(说唱)연기 위에 한국전통무용등 다양한 요소를 접목해 공연 양식이 풍부해졌다. 본 논문에서는 중국전통희곡(戏曲)의 정식화(程式化)와 허의화(虚拟化)의 의미와 정식화(程式化)와 허의화(虚拟化)의 특징이 희곡(戏曲)연기에 미치는 영향과 판소리의 설창 연기를 중심으로 하는 창극 연기양식의 특징에 대해 알아본다. 경극 예술이 가지고 있는 정식화(程式化)와 허의화(虚拟化) 연기양식의 표현수단 및 무대 양식에 대한 분석과 비교의 목적은 중국전통희곡(戏曲)의 연기양식에서 한국 창극 발전에 도움이 될 만한 요소들을 찾는 것이다. 이러한 요소들을 한국 창극에 맞게 변형하고 활용 할 수 있다면 창극은 공연형식의 발전과 대중화의 방법을 모색할 수 있을 것이며, 양국의 예술 교류도 더욱더 많은 발전이 있을 것이라고 본다.

영문 초록

Beijing opera, Chinese typical dramatic art, and Korean classical opera are the archetypes of traditional performing arts representing each nation. Chinese dramatic art has the special features as the archetype of Chinese traditional culture. They are the very set pattern and fictionalization, which have huge effect on music, costume, instrument, properties as well as the form of performance in total Chinese performing arts. Chinese traditional drama can have the independent and differentiated characteristic, combing the standardized form of act and the form of fiction, dispensing practical features on stage. Korean classical opera, which is the traditional performance representing Korean culture, is formed, based on the Pansori. Pansori is the core skill for Korean classical opera performer and their acting. As the form of performance changed from Pansori to Korean classical opera, the Korean classical opera adapted Korean traditional dance into the traditional Seolchang action, the singing and speaking form of folk literature. Therefore the form of the performance became more various and colorful. The meaning and feature of the standardized form and the fiction as well as the effect on performance will be researched in the chapter 2 in this article. And the feature of act in Korean classical opera, based on the Seolchang of Pansori as the important act, will be found in the chapter 3. This article aims at observing and researching Beijing opera and Korean classical opera in comparison between those. The elements, which may help the Korean classical opera develop, can be found, as researching and comparing correctly the pattern of stage and the means for expression, adapting standardized pattern and the fiction in Beijing opera. If we can adapt and unite the elements to develop Korean classical opera, it will make itself flourishing. It can also help two nations exchange their culture more vigorously.
