참관실습에서 나타나는 예비특수교사의 교사와 교육환경 인식 및 관계 변화에 대한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 참관실습이 예비특수교사들에게 다양한 문제인식을 변화시킬 수 있는 계기가 될 수 있는지 탐색해 보았으며, 질적 연구방법을 사용하였다. 연구 자료는 구조화된 질문지와 면담의 방법을 주로 사용했으며, 보조 연구 도구로써 참관실습 일지 등을 참고로 활용했다. 본 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 장애학생을 교육하기 위해서는 막연한 사랑보다는 실제 교육현장에 필요한 다양한 수업 방법 및 장애학생들이 직접 실천할 수 있는 구체적인 수업계획이 더 중요하다는 점을 인식하게 되었으며, 지도교사와의 관계 변화에 있어서도 참관실습이 여러번 진행되면서 어색한 느낌은 자연스럽게 사라지는 변화가 일어났다. 둘째, 참관실습생의 통합교육에 대한 인식 변화 과정을 분석해 보면 특수학교에서 참관실습을 경험한 예비교사들은 통합교육에 대해 긍정적인 관점에서 부정적인 관점으로 변화된 학생 수와 부정적인 관점 또는 일반적인 관점에서 긍정적인 관점으로 변화된 학생 수가 거의 비슷하게 나타났다. 반면에 일반학교 특수학급에서 참관실습을 경험한 예비교사들은 통합교육에 대해 대부분 부정적인 관점에서 긍정적인 관점으로 변화되었음을 보여주었다. 참관실습생과 특수교육보조원과의 관계 변화는 참관실습 처음부터 끝날 때까지 서로 편한 관계를 유지한 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore whether the field observation practicum provides pre-service special education teachers with a chance to change their various perceptions relating to special education. A qualitative research method was used for this study. Data was collected by structured questionnaires, interviews, and field observation practicum journals. The followings were found as the results of this study. First, the pre-service special education teachers have learned that various teaching methods necessary in the field and concrete teaching plans practical to students are more important than vague love in educating students with special needs. In terms of their relationship with supervisors, they also felt more comfortable with the supervisors as observation time continued. Second, analyzing the change of the pre-service special education teachers' perception about inclusive education, among those who experienced the field observation practicum in the special school, numbers that changed from positive viewpoint to negative viewpoint and numbers that changed from negative viewpoint or general viewpoint to positive viewpoint were almost the same. On the contrary, those who experienced the field observation practicum in the special class showed change mostly from negative viewpoint to positive viewpoint in their perception about inclusive education. In the relationship with special education aides, the pre-service special education teachers showed good relationship with them throughout the field observation practicum.
