다요인 인성 16PF와 Holland의 직업적 성격유형 검사로 본 과학 영재의 특성연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 서울에 소재한 과학고 1,2학년 학생(308명)을 대상으로 과학영재학생들의 심리적 특성을 분석하기 위한 목적으로 실시하였다. 학생들의 심리적 특성은 다요인 인성 16PF 검사와 Holland의 직업적 성격유형 검사 결과를 성별, 진로정체성 수준, 지능으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 성별은 남학생이 239명(77.6%)고 여학생이 69명(22.4%)이며, 진로정체성의 수준이 낮은 학생이 27명(8.8%), 보통인 학생이 142명(46.1%), 높은 학생이 139명(45.1%)이었다. 지능은 130 이하가 101명(32.%)이고 130 초과가 207명(67.2%)이었다. 연구문제에 따른 결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별에 따른 다요인 인성검사 16PF에서는 대담성이 유의미한 차이가 있었고, Holland의 직업적 성격유형에서는 실재형, 예술형, 기업형에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 대담성은 여학생이 높았고 실재형은 남학생이, 예술형과 기업형은 여학생이 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 진로정체감 수준에 따른 다요인 인성 16PF에서는 온정성, 정열성, 자책성, 자기통제, 불안에서 유의미한 차이를 보였고, Holland의 직업적 성격유형에서는 실재형, 탐구형, 예술형, 사회형, 기업형에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 지능에 따른 다요인 인성 16PF는 진보성에서만 유의미한 차이를 보였고 Holland의 직업적 성격 유형에서는 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 학생들의 진로지도와 생활지도에 성별고려와 진로정체감이 유용한 자료로 활용될 수 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 지능과는 관계가 거의 없었음을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the psychological characteristics of the science gifted students according to 16PF, Holland vocational personality inventory(HVPI) and IQ test in science gifted school's 1st and 2nd grade students in Seoul. The students are composed by 239(77.6%)male students, and 69(22.4%)female students. It is found that 27students were low(8.8%), 142students average(46.1%), 139students high(45.1%) in career identity. IQ scores are 101(32.%)students were below 130, 207(67.2%)students were over 130. The results shows that the 16PF's Boldnesstype were found significant according to gender. In Holland, the Realistic type, the Artistic type and Enterpring typewere found significant differences. Girls were found high in the Boldness, boys were found high in the Artistic and Enterprising type. The Warmth, the Surgency, the Guilt-pronenes, the Self-control, the Anxiety were found significant according to the 16PF's career identity. In Holland, the Realistic , the Investigative, the Artistic, the Social, the Enterprising types were found significant except for the Conventional type. The results of this study can be used as a useful data in career and everyday guidance at school because the results showed that the career identity is related with the students' characteristics and HVPI. 16PF showed significant difference in Liberalism(P<.05)with the IQ, but not with the Holland. This shows that the IQ is not related with the Holland.
