국문 초록

의사와 작가인 바실레 보이쿨레스쿠는 시와 소설 희곡 등 여러 장르의 창작활동을 한 신비적이고 정교적인 특색을 가진 전통적, 가부장적인 루마니아 문학방향의 대표자이다. 그의 산문에서는 원시적인 세계 속에서 동화가 현실이 되고 미신이 일상이 된다. 사람들은 식물, 동물과 의사소통하고 실제와 허구, 자연과 초자연이 서로 녹아있다. 이러한 대립을 통해서 고대문화와 현대문명의 반대성을 부각시키고 있다. 보이쿨레스쿠의 시 주제는 종교와 사랑으로 나눌 수 있다. 이 작가는 종교적인 감정이 가장 숭고하고 가장 순수한 표현이라고 생각했으며 예술은 신앙에 대한 헌신이라고 말하고 있다. 그의 시는 지속적인 정화의 작품이며 인간존재가 신과 만나기 위해 준비하는 실험실로써 이해된다. 그의 사랑 시는 사랑을 통한 인생의 영원성을 노래하고 있다. 시간과 죽음을 초월하는 사랑은 지나가는 인생에 절대적인 차원을 주는 가능성으로써 인간에게 주어진 유일하게 영원한 것이라고 말하고 있다. 사랑은 인생의 시간이 원래의 영원한 시간의 본질로 가게하고 사랑이 있는 인생은 영원한 시간을 갖는다는 것이다.

영문 초록

Vasile Voiculescu, doctor and writer, is one of the representative Romanian writers who cultivated diverse genres such are the poem, the novel and the drama and whose literary world has the traditional and patriarchal direction of the Romanian literature with mysterious characteristics of the Orthodox religion. In his prose, the fairy tales in the primitive times become a reality and the superstition is the daily life. People communicates with animals and plants, and the truth reality and the fiction, the nature and the supernaturalness combine each other. He brings the opposite between the ancient culture and the modern civilization into relief through these contrasts. The theme of Voiculescu’s poems is divided into two, the religion and the love. He said “The religious feeling is the most pure and sublime expression and the art is the dedication to the faith.” His poems were understood as a continuous purification and also as a laboratory which prepares a meeting between the human beings and God. His love poems sing an eternity of the life. The love which transcends time and death is the possibility which offers the absolute dimension to the passing life. And it is a unique eternity for the human beings. Love makes the time of life to return to the eternal essence of the basic time, and the life with love could have the eternal time.
