영문 초록

With the distribution of limestones, there are many caves around the upper Taizihe River. Among these caves, sites for dwelling sites and relics of the Neolithic Age are excavated in Machengzi B cave, Beidian A cave and Zhangjiabao A cave. Potteries, stone implements, pendants and bone tools of the Neolithic Age are discovered as a result of excavation. Various figures are carved on the potteries and most of the potteries are bowl type. The chipped stone implements are more excavated than the polished stone artifacts. Comparing the Neolithic remains around the upper Taizihe River with those of Misongri in Uiju, Dangsan in Jeongju and Toseongri in Junggang, the excavated remains in these areas have affinities with respect to the figure and type of potteries and the pattern of arrowheads.
