영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze what needs to be considered in order to enhance Cyber Home Learning, which was initiated to assist public education. For this, the current Cyber Home Learning materials used in public schools were analyzed in terms of language input, output, and interaction. Then a survey was conducted to investigate the use and needs of the elementary school English teachers on Cyber Home Learning. The analysis of the current Cyber Home Learning contents revealed that the materials needed to be developed in a way to facilitate interaction between learners and needed to be presented more systematically so that the students and teachers could easily access the learning contents depending on their levels. The survey results showed that the teachers requested more interesting and diverse learning materials different from the classroom learning procedure to enhance student motivation. The teachers also requested the learning materials be coordinated with the current curricula applied at public schools.
