중국 각 지역 경제성장과 환경투자 간의 관계

국문 초록

경제가 어느 정도 성장할 때까지 환경오염은 필연적으로 발생할 수밖에 없으며, 일정수준에 도달하게 되면 환경투자가 이루어지면서 오염이 감소한다는 것은 많은 연구들에서 확인된 바 있다. 경제성장은 환경에 대한 투자를 이끌어내며, 대량의 환경투자는 다시 경제성장에 일익을 담당한다. 고속 경제성장을 거듭하고 있는 중국에서도 경제성장에 따라 환경에 대한 투자가 점차 증가하고 있다. 또한, 지역 간 경제성장 격차가 두드러지게 나타나는 중국에서는 환경투자와 경제성장 간의 관계도 지역적 특성을 반영하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 패널분석을 통해 환경투자와 경제성장 간의 관계, 그리고 그것이 중국의 동부, 중부, 서부에서 어떤 유사성과 차이점을 가지고 나타나는지를 분석한다.

영문 초록

The pollution occurs necessarily until the economic growth reaches a certain level, and it is proved through many researches that the pollution level goes down with investment in the environment when the economy reaches a certain level of development. In other words, economic growth encourages investment in the environment and the environmental investment contributes to the economic growth. In China, which shows continuous fast-paced economic growth, environmental investment becomes more increasing as the economy expands. Also the regional characteristic is applied to the relationship between the environmental investment and the economic growth in China, which shows apparent regional disparity of the economic growth. In this paper, the relationship between the environmental investment and the economic growth, and its difference and similarity shown in the eastern, central, and western China will be studied through panel analysis.
