국문 초록

本稿は2007年に文部科学省検定をうけた日本の高等学校用近現代史教科書日本史A四種類を対象にして在日朝鮮人関連の記述内容を分析するものである。結論から言えばこれら近現代史教科書には在日朝鮮人関連の記述が載る頻度が非常に低く、分量も少ない。日本の歴史教育の現場において、日本社会に｢特別永住｣の資格で居住する最も大きいマイノリティ集団である在日朝鮮人への関心が低いことを代弁している。四種類の教科書にある在日朝鮮人関連の記述はそれぞれ量と質に差が大きい。冒頭で設定した四つの主要主題を中心に各教科書でいかに扱っているかを検討してみた。まず、在日朝鮮人の形成背景に当る｢戦前における朝鮮人渡日の原因と日本内朝鮮人の生活｣に関する記述があるのは三省堂と東京書籍、2社の教科書であった。｢関東大震災の時の朝鮮人虐殺事件｣に対しては四つの教科書全部に記述が載っている。今日の在日朝鮮人が存在するの基点である｢日本敗戦直後における日本居住朝鮮人の帰国と残留｣に対する記述は唯一東京書籍の教科書だけに見ることができる。｢韓日両国の修交と在日朝鮮人の法的地位｣に関しては三省堂と山川出版社など2社の教科書に皮相的でありながら記述が見られる。本稿の目的に即して言えば、検討対象の四種類の近現代史教科書の中では東京書籍の日本史Ａ ―現代からの歴史－が比較的に充実した記述を載せていることが確認できる。

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to review the Japanese modern history textbooks and analyse their ways of depicting the historical facts about Korean Minority in Japan. The four textbooks I used for this paper are supposed to be newly published next year. All in all, all the textbooks devote very small amount of writing about Korean Minority in Japan. And the writing of each textbook is different, including 1) the formation of Korean Minority in Japan, 2) the genocidal killings of Korean Minority in Japan during the great Kanto Earthquake, 3) the return of Korean Minority in Japan to Korea after 1945, 4) the Korea-Japan diplomatic ties and the legal status of Korean Minority in Japan. As for 1), only Sanseido and Tokyosyoseki textbooks deal with the background of massive Korean immigration to Japan before 1945. As for 2), all the four textbooks describe the slaughters. As for 3), only Tokyosyoseki textbook depicts the fact that, though many Koreans returned to Korea, other Koreans remained in Japan after 1945. As for 4), even if Sanseido and Yamakawa textbooks refers to them tentatively and don't give any perspectives. It is Tokyosyoseki textbook that does most faithful depiction about Korean Minority in Japan compared to others. However, Tokyosyoseki textbook does not say about the legal status issue of Korean Minority in Japan discussed in the Korea-Japan conferences in the process of establishing the diplomatic ties. The issue should not be ignored because it is still the cause of conflict between two countries and defines Japanese treatment of Korean Minority in Japan.
