영문 초록

In these days we can see so many history books with a title that excites our curiosity. This is the result of bitter experience the researchers had in Korea mainly after 1990s. Readers turned their back to the books which can't satisfy their curiosity and are full of pedantry terms. In that sense, that is the same case with the books and papers which deal with Korean Community in Japan(Jaeil Josunin) after Liberation. This paper examines various thesis' for a degree that deal with Korean Community in Japan after Liberation and checks out some deficient points that they should make up for and finally tries to make a teaching material for undergraduates. Compared in Japan, domestic research on Korean Community in Japan has some difficulty with historical raw materials, and the insufficient opportunity to come in contact with Korean Community in Japan. As the result of this disadvantageous circumstances in research, the papers in Korea inevitably have some weak points. Nevertheless, owing to increasing exchange of scholars and information with Japan, a variety of papers could be published. As a rule, they can be categorized into four kind of studies according to themes-in detail, various policies about Korean Community in Japan in South Korea, North Korea and Japan, Korean's legal status in Japan, Korean's ethnic education, and individual identity within Korean community. In order to intensify the study on Korean Community in Japan, this paper offers to research on GHQ's koreans in japan-repatriation policy during 1945-1948, and ordinances about legal status, the changes in both Korea and Japan after a great many repatriates returned to their mother land, Repatriation(1959-1984) of Koreans in Japan to North Korea after Calcatta Treaty and the movements of South Korea, North Korea, and Japan, and finally cultural and daily life approach to them. This paper includes teaching material for undergraduates, and it is composed of text and 5 columns. The sub-titles of the text are, 「The Repatriation of Koreans in Japan just after Liberation」, 「Repatriates and Non-repatriates」, 「Korean Organizations in Japan」, 「Deprivation of Japanese Nationality after Treaty of San Francisco」, 「Repatriation of Koreans in Japan to North Korea」, 「Korea-Japan Treaty and the Changes within Korean Community in Japan」, 「The Present and Future of Korean Community in Japan」. and as for the columns, refer to the appendix.
