圃隱詩에 나타난 故鄕 認識과 世界 認識

국문 초록

포은시 319수 중에서 고향에 대해 심도 있게 다룬 경우는 19수이다. 19수는 세 가지 층위를 보인다. 화자가 고향을 '벗이나 식구'와 등치 관계로 보는 작품은 층위1이고, 고향을 '상대적 우위에 있는 풍광'과 등치 관계로 보는 작품은 층위2이고, 고향을 '이상향'과 등치 관계로 보는 작품은 층위3이다. 어느 경우에나 고향이 사전적 의미보다 확장되는 경향을 보인다. 확장 폭의 순위는 층위2가 가장 먼저이고 층위1이 가장 뒤쪽이고 층위3은 그 중간 어름이다. 확장 폭이 달라지는 까닭은 상대적 가치관에서 비롯된다. 강국도 영원하지 않고 문화적 위업도 영원하지 않다는 상대적 가치관이 주체논리의 차원에서 고향을 바라보도록 했고, 그런 시각이 확장 폭을 달리 하도록 만들었다. 주체논리에 입각해서 고향을 바라본다고 해서, 포은의 상대적 가치관에 문제가 있다고 볼 수는 없다. 주체논리가 형세논리와 대응하면서 그 강도를 높이고 있기 때문에, 화자의 자의식이 수직적으로 상승하면서도 결코 객관성을 잃지 않는다. 이런 점이 圃隱式의 상대적 가치관이 지닌 특징이다.

영문 초록

The 19 poems out of Poeun's 319 poems deals with home town in depth. The 19 poems show three layers. In the poems with the layer 1, the speaker sees the home town as 'friend or family member' in an equivalent way. In the poems with the layer 2, the speaker sees the home town as 'the scenery in the relative dominance' in an equivalent way. In the poems with the layer 3, the speaker sees the home town as an ideal world in an equivalent way. In any layers, the home town seems to extend its meaning beyond the lexical meaning. In the order of the breadth of extension, the layer 2 is first, the layer 1 is last, the layer 3 is middling. The variation of the breadth results from the relative set of values. The relative set of values, which means the powerful nation and the great cultural achievement are not everlasting, makes him see the home town under the subject logic, and then the outlook makes the breadth of extension different. Seeing the home town under the subject logic does not mean that something is wrong with his relative set of values. As he takes note of the home town objectively under the subject logic, and looks into world objectively under the circumstantial logic, it is possible to say tat Poeun's relative set of values attains an objectivity in his own way.
