국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니의 창의적 성격과 유아의 창의성 및 인지처리양식과의 관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 D시에 위치한 Y 유치원의 만 3, 4, 5세 원아 71명과 그들의 어머니 71명을 대상으로 하였다. 유아의 창의성을 측정하기 위해 김영채(1999) 가 편역한 Torrence의 창의적 사고력 검사를 사용하였다. 어머니의 창의적 성격을 측정하기 위해 김영채(1998)가 펀역한 Khatena-Torrence 창의적 성격 검사를 사용하였다, 또한 인지처리 능력 검사를 위해서 문수백과 변창진(1997)의 한국판 K-ABC지능검사를 사용하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 10.0 통계프로그램을 이용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 창의적 성격과 유아의 창의성과의 관계는 전반적으로 상관이 없었다. 둘째, 어머니의 창의적 성격과 유아의 인지처리양식과의 관계에서 전반적으로 상관이 없었다. 셋째 유아의 창의성과 인지처리양식과의 관계에서 유아의 창의성 진체지수, 유창성, 독창성, 성급한 종결에 대한 저항은 동시처리와 상관이 있었다. 그리고 제목의 추상성은 순차처리와 인지처리와 상관이 있었다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study were to examine how mother’s creative personality affects her children’s creativity and cognitive processing style and to identify the relations of creativity and the styles of cognitive processing The subjects of this study were 71children aged from three to five and their mothers from Y kindergarten in Daegu City. The research instrument for the creativity of the children was the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking translated by Kim Young-chae(1999). The children's cognitive processing ability, was assessed by Korean version of the Kaufman Assessment Battery of Children (K-ABC), standardized by Moon Su-bak and Byun Chang-jin(1997). In addition, each mother’s creative personality was evaluated with the Khatena-Torrance Creative Perception Inventory translated by Kim Young-chae(1998) The relationships between a mother’s creative personality and the children’s creativity and cognitive processing were analyzed with the Pearson product moment correlation coefficient measured with the SPSS 10.0 statistic program. The research findings were as follows: First, overall, there were no significant correlations between a mother’s creative personality and a child’ creativity Second, there were no significant correlations between a mother’s creative personality and a child’s cognitive processing style. Third, there were significant relations between creativity and the styles of cognitive processing, fluency, initiative, and the tendency to resist against any hasty conclusion had correlations the speed of coping with things simultaneously. Also, there seemed to be a correlation between gradual and cognitive processing style while there was no relation between delicacy and cognitive processing. In short, it appeared that the children’s creativity and cognitive processing correlated with each other.
