가정위탁아동의 심리사회적응과 인권에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 가정위탁아동의 인권 및 권리존중과 아동의 생존권 보장하기 위하여 위탁가정 및 위탁아동이 접하는 사회적 환경내에서의 위탁가정의 심리사회적응도를 살펴본 연구이다. 서울, 경기지역 소재 위탁아동(초등학생 86명, 중학생 55명)을 대상으로 심리사회적응도(학교적 자아존중감, 가정적 자아존중감, 사회적 자아존중감, 사회적 위축)를 중심으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 학교, 위탁가정, 사회적 환경내에서 낮은 자아존중감이 나타났으며, 위탁아동이 접하는 사회적 관계에서 사회적 발달권이 보장되지 못하여 사회적 위축을 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 위탁아동의 낮은 자아존중감 및 사회적 위축을 줄이고 위탁아동의 인권을 체계적으로 보호 및 지원하기 위하여 사례관리 네트워크센터의 도입 및 위탁아동 멘토링 프로그램과 위탁부모코칭프로그램이 도입되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This research is aimed at looking at psycho-social adaptation level of a child at a foster home in social environments with which a foster home and foster child come in contact with the aim of guaranteeing the human rights, respect for rights and the right to live of a foster child at home. This research made an analysis of mainly the psycho-social adaptation level[in-school self-esteem, domestic self-esteem, and social self-esteem] of foster children[86 elementary schoolchildren, 55 junior high schoolchildren] living in Seoul and Gyeonggi district. As a result, there appeared a low self-esteem at school, foster home, and social environment, and a foster child was found to experience social atrophy because the right of social development isn't guaranteed in social relations with which a foster child come in contact. Thus, this research suggests that there should be an introduction of case management networks center and mentoring programs for a foster child and coaching programs for foster parents to reduce such a low self-esteem and social atrophy and also to protect & support the human rights of a foster child on a systematic basis.
