영문 초록

Korean Society in russian north-caucasus region is divided by two groups. First group moved in this area from ending of 1950s. After removal of residential restriction for forced-immigrants of the second world war. they immigrated from central asia to russia. This group can be called as 'localized-group. ' Second group has been moving in this area from 1990s. They were mainly came from Uzbekistan and Tadzhikistan. This group can be called as 'recent-immigrants .' Korean communities are existed in Rostov oblasty, Krasonodar krai, Stavorpol krai. Khabardhino-Balkariya autonomous republic and North-osetian autonomous republic. Most of these koreans (especillay immigrants from 1990s) engage in agriculture regardless of their past occupation. In the cultural aspect the degree of cultural assimilation to russian culture of localized-group is higher than that of recent-immigrants. The level of higher education between two groups is not so different. In detail percentage of higher-education of localized groups is higher than recent-immigrants. Contrasting with level of higher education, level of average education of recent-immigrants is higher than localized group. Most support for these groups are not from korean government but from korean NGO.
