국문 초록

세르비아와 크로아티아 인터넷 현황이 특수한 정치적, 사회적 배경으로 다른 유럽지역보다 뒤떨어져있지만, 인터넷은 이미 세르비아나 크로아티아에서 매우 중요한 사회구성요소로 자리 잡고 있다. 인터넷은 하루에도 수십, 수백 개의 새로운 전문용어를 양산해 내고 있다. 컴퓨터나 인터넷 기술이 영어권 국가들을 중심으로 이루어지고 있고, 전 세계를 하나로 연결하는 인터넷의 특징상 대부분의 인터넷 전문용어는 영어이다. 결국, 인터넷은 국경을 초월한 세계인의 공동 매체이며 정보 창고이지만 영어를 모국어로 하지 않은 사람들에게는 접근성에 어려움이 있다. 또한 인터넷의 보급과 함께 필연적으로 유입되는 많은 영어외래어 전문용어들의 수용 원칙도 영어권이외 언어학자들에게는 고민스러운 문제이다. 세르비아나 크로아티아도 다양한 방식으로 영어외래어 전문용어를 수용하고 있다. 이 연구는 세르비아․크로아티아어 인터넷 전문용어의 특징과 차용, 조어방법을 실제 사용과 비교하여 분석하고 정리해 보았다. 흥미로운 결과는 세르비아나 크로아티아 모두 공식적인 외래어 차용규범과 실제 언어사용이 일치하지 않고 있으며 일부에서는 언어 혼란 현상까지 나타나고 있다는 것이다. 또한 외래어 수용의 원칙과 조어론에 있어 분명 세르비아어와 크로아티아어는 차이점을 가지고 있지만 인터넷 용어 차용과 사용에 있어 두 언어의 차이는 훨씬 적게 나타난다.

영문 초록

This article analyse the basic patterns of the computer and internet terminology by which neoligisms hale been made in present-day Serbian and Croatian language. The focus of attention is primarily on the borrowings of english computer and internet terminology. Due to the technical supremacy of the Anglo-American countries, the English language has acquired an unquestionable predominance in the field of terminologies which is sometimes deplored by purist which it is generally welcomed by pragmatist. There can be no doubt that up to now no national language for special purposes has managed to prevent the penetration of English terms. To what extend does the Croatian / Serbian computer and internet terminology, given here by way of example, accept or modify foreign terms, and where does it replace or complement them by autochthonic expressions? which lexico-semantic relations can there be observed with this domain? In this analysis, neologism of internet terminology are categorized and commented upon according to culturally defined basic areas of life and knowledge in technical innovation and technology of the computer and internet.
