국문 초록

부르디외와 루만이 제안하였던 ‘문학장(Literary field)’의 개념은 세계문학장의 보편적 메커니즘을 설명하는데 중요한 이론적 토대를 제공하는 것은 사실이지만, 실질적으로 각 민족의 문학장을 연구함에 있어서 그 고유의 문화적 벡터가 이와 어떻게 맞물리는지를 고찰하지 않으면 그 논의가 공허해지기 쉽다. 이 논문은 러시아문학의 예를 통 하여, 문학장의 형성에서 민족 고유의 문화적 의식이 지대한 기능을 하는 점과, ‘문학적 과정(literary process)’을 구성하는 요소들인 창 작, 출판, 비평이 경제 및 물질 환경의 변화, 정치적 구심화(전체주의) 와 원심화(민주화) 등 사회적 변화에 민감하게 반응하면서 유동적으 로 변화하는 모습을 조망하면서, 한 민족문학의 문학적 과정은 공시적 인 지배인자와 통시적인 요인 둘 모두가 고려될 때에 그 본질이 규명 될 수 있다는 잠정적 결론을 제시하고 있다. 아울러 각 민족 문학의 문학적 과정이 정상적으로 운용되고 있는가를 규명하기 위해서는 문학적 현상들의 표면적인 다채로움에 현혹되기 이전에 그것이 과연 참된 다성화(polyphony)인가를 따져 보아야 한다는 점을 본 논문은 강조하고 있다.

영문 초록

This paper aims to analyze the changing trend of the so-called ‘literary field’ of the Russian Literature on the foundation of the concept as defined by P.Bourdieu and N.Luhmann. But the researcher thinks that their basic concept needs to be complemented by the consideration of the peculiar cultural environment of each national literature, without which the research itself is sure to be vague. Therefore the researcher studies in this paper how the general concept of literary field and the cultural vector of the Russian literature are connected within themselves. In each chapter, we can survey the various impacts of extra-literary field factors(the great reform of Peter the great, the revolution of October in 1917, the political censorship, the perestroika and glasnost), and the consequence of the ensuing changes in the literary field, such as the formation, the momentary degeneration, and heteronomous revival, and finally, the extinction of the ‘literaturocentrism’. Besides, in this context, we can construct the model of monologism and polyphony in the area of the literary publishing and criticism.
