독일 일반교수학 모형과 최근 동향

국문 초록

  교육학이 가르치고 배우는 활동을 주요 탐구대상으로 한다고 볼 때 ‘교수와 학습의 이론과 실천에 관한 학문’으로서 일반교수학의 위상은 제고될 필요가 있다. 코메니우스 이래 독일에서 오랜 지적 전통을 지니고 있는 교수학(Didaktik)은 보는 관점에 따라 교육의 이론 및 실천학, 교육 내용학, 교육 방법학으로서 다양한 역할과 기능을 수행해 왔다. 이 글에서는 교육학의 본질적 영역임에도 불구하고 이제껏 우리 교육학에서 충분히 논의되지 못했던 교수학의 다양한 모형들과 최근 동향을 검토함으로써 우리 교육에 줄 수 있는 시사점을 탐색해 보고자 하였다.
  독일의 다양한 교수모형을 검토하면서 확인할 수 있었던 사실은 자라나는 성장세대에게 부단히 사회 변화에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 능력과 비판적 능력을 길러 주어야 한다는 점이다. 클라프키가 제안한 비판-구성적 교수학은 이런 관점을 잘 보여 주고 있으며, 우리 교육적 현실에도 접목 가능성이 높은 것으로 밝혀졌다. 독일 일반교수학의 최근 동향에서 시사받을 수 있는 점은 첫째, 진정한 의미에서 학습자 중심교육의 의미와 방법을 찾아야 하며 둘째, PISA 결과와 관련하여 수업 자체에 대한 경험연구를 강화해 나가야 하며 셋째, 우리의 입장에서는 교수학을 둘러싼 독일어권과 영미권의 대화와 협력을 주체적으로 수용하여 ‘좋은 수업’을 실현할 수 있는 계기로 삼아야 한다는 것이다.

영문 초록

  On the assumption that the pedagogy does mainly researches on teaching and learning the position of general didactics should be enhanced in educational theory and practice. After Comenius and Herbart the ‘Didaktik’ has long tradition in german-spoken countries. This branch of the pedagogy has performed a variety of roles and functions from different points of view such as ‘theory and practice of teaching", ‘educational contents and curriculum’, ‘teaching method and instruction". Although the thema belongs to the essential part of pedagogy it was not enough discussed in educational science community. This article tries to examine on diverse models of german didactic and recent streams of theory, research and practice.
  Through the examination of manyfold models of german didactic could be corroborated that we should cultivate next generation of the ability in coping with rapid social change and critical competence. The model of Wolfgang Klafki"s critical-constructive didactic shows this point of view well and could be universally applied to our pedagogical situation. The closer inquire into recent tendencies of didactical research and practice indicates us several perspectives on our teaching and instruction: First, we should seek the essence and methods of ‘learner-centered instruction’ in a authentic sense. Second, empirical researches on the classroom instruction itself should be emphasized in relation to the results of OECD-PISA tests. Third, it is useful for our realization of ‘good instruction’ in the schooling to accept the dialogues und cooperation moods between german-spoken scholars and anglo-american researchers.
