국문 초록

  본 연구의 목적은 전래동화를 인지한 유아가 친모와 계모의 양육태도를 어떻게 인식하고 있으며 만일 계모에 대한 부정적인 편견이 형성되어 있다면 개작된 전래동화를 통하여 이들의 인식이 성별, 연령(만3세,4세,5세)에 따라 긍정적으로 변화되었는지를 살펴보는데 있다. 연구결과 유아들이 알고 있는 전래동화는 백설공주, 신데렐라, 헨젤과 그레텔, 콩쥐팥쥐 순으로 나타났다. 친모에 대한 양육태도는 남녀 유아 모두 유의미한 차이가 없었으나 여아가 남아보다 친모에 대해 보다 긍정적으로, 계모에 대해서는 보다 부정적으로 인식하고 있었다. 반면에 연령에 따른 친모와 계모의 양육태도 인식 차이는 유의미하지 않았다. 개작된 전래 동화를 들려 준 후 사전ㆍ사후의 부모양육태도 인식에서 남ㆍ여아 모두 친모의 대한 인식은 차이가 없었으나 계모의 경우, 애정적, 적대적 태도에서 긍정적 인식으로 변화되었다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of this study was to examine whether the prejudiced view of formation in the children"s acknowledgement on the attitude for childrearing between the parent and stepparent in traditional fairy tales. If there was a biased view of it, how to change positive ways of children"s acknowledgement depend on gender and age after listening the remade traditional fairy tales.
  The subjects of this study were 124 children, who were attending at the day care centers in Seoul including 41 three-years-old, 37 four-years-old, and 46 five-years-old.
  For data collection, the researcher and an assistant employed individual interviews with children that were based on questionnaires answered by parents. The individual interviews with children were conducted two times during four weeks.
  After the first individual interviews, the researcher told the remade traditional fairytale-Kongjui Patjui- to children one week later and the second individual interviews were conducted that children listened again the same remade traditional fairy tale after one week later.
  Collected data were analyzed by frequency and percentile. t-test and F-test were used to find out the difference attitude of parenting between parents and stepparents, and Paired t-test were used for comparing the acknowledgement of attitude for parenting between first and second individual interviews.
  The result of this study indicated as follows;
  First, children have already known about the traditional fairytales, those are in order of Snow White (83.9%), Cinderella (77.4%), Henzel and Gratel (69.4%), and Kongjui Patjui (45.2%). The recognition of fairy tales of children showed Cinderella, Snow White, and Henzel and Gratel higher than Kongjui Patjui.
  Second, the sources of knowing about traditional fairytales were picture books (55.6%), videotapes (31.5%), family members (30.6%), and preschool teachers (25%) in order. Children had more experienced material resources, like videotapes and picture books, than human resources, like family members and preschool teachers.
  Third, there were not many difference the attitude of parenting about the parent in gender but girls acknowledged more positive than boys. However, about the parenting of the stepparents, girls acknowledged more negative than boys in contrast.
  Fourth, there were not many difference the attitude of parenting between the parent and stepparent depend on the age. However, about the stepparent, children who were aged 5 had the most negative acknowledgement among them.
  Fifth, there were also not many difference the acknowledgement of the attitude of parenting about the parent according to the age and gender, and first and second individual interviews. Furthermore, there were positive changed in the attitude of affection and hostility about the acknowledgement of the stepparent.
  Last, in the change of the acknowledgement of the attitude of parenting before and after individual interviews, the attitude of stepparent changed positively. Also the attitude of affection and hostility in the acknowledgement of the stepparent, there were changed from negative acknowledgement to positive through this project.
