조양(朝陽) 오일용 선생의 기업가정신에 관한 연구

국문 초록

  본 연구는 창업기업가 조양 오일용 선생의 기업가정신을 밝히려는 목적을 가지고 있다. 기업가정신에 관한 기존연구를 바탕으로 기업가와 기업가정신의 개념, 그리고 성공한 기업가의 특성을 살펴보았다. 나아가 인터뷰와 2차자료에 의거하여 조양의 기업가정신을 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 특징이 발견되었다. 사회적 책임과 투철한 봉사정신, 불굴의 집념과 장기적 전망, 타인을 배려하는 고결한 성품, 그리고 폼에 밴 근검절약. 이와 같은 조양의 기업가정신은 현대 경영학 이론의 역설경영, 변혁적 리더십, 전략경영, 그리고 성공한 기업가의 일반적 특성의 반추 등과 깊은 관계를 지니는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이런 연구결과는 관련분야의 이론개발 및 성공한 기업가의 특성 파악이라는 이론적 시사점을 제공해 준다. 나아가 본 연구결과는 성공기업가의 역할모델 제시라는 실무적 시사점도 제공하고 있다. 이 외에도 본 연구의 한계와 향후 연구방향이 제시되고 있다.

영문 초록

  This study investigates the entrepreneurship of Choyang, Il-Yong Oh who was founder of Dong-Il Industry. Based on the previous studies on the entrepreneurship, this study suggests the concept of entrepreneur and entrepreneurship, and the characteristics of successful founding entrepreneurs. Secondary data and interview results showed that Choyang has several entrepreneurial characteristics such as social responsibility and service mentality, concentration of his attention, long-term perspective, consideration on others, and diligence and frugality. These characteristics related with management by paradox, transformational leadership, strategic management, and general characteristics of successful entrepreneurs. Research results provide academic implications such as entrepreneurship related theory development and successful entrepreneur"s characteristics, and practical implications such as role model development of successful entrepreneur. This study also discusses the limitations and future research directions.
