국문 초록

  본 연구는 기업에서 IOS(Interorganizatinal System)관련 웹프로젝트를 시도하는데 필요한 웹기술의 흡수 및 확산에 어떤 종류의 조직？전략적 요인들이 영향을 미치는 지를 파악하는 것을 주된 목적으로 설정하였다. 즉 기업간 정보시스템을 활용한 기업을 분석대상으로 설정하여 웹기술의 흡수 및 확산 정도에 영향을 미치는 조직？전략관련 결정요인들의 영향력을 파악하고자 한다. 이와 같은 요인들은 제휴적요인, 전략경쟁적요인 및 IT구조적요인과 같은 3개 요인으로 구성되었다. 제휴적요인은 제휴업체관계성 및 협력체계구축과 같은 요인들로 구성되었고, 전략경쟁적 요인은 경영층IT지식, 경쟁적 압력 및 전략적투자논리와 같은 요인들로 구성되었다. IT구조적 요인은 IT활동정도, IT업무집중화 및 IT업무구조화와 같은 요인들로 구성되었다. 연구결과 제휴적 요인은 IOS구축에서 기업간 제휴필요성과 관련이 있으며 따라서 웹기술흡수보다는 웹기술확산과 유의한 관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 경쟁적 압력은 웹기술흡수 및 웹기술확산과 유의한 관계를 가지며 경영층IT지식은 웹기술흡수에 유의한 관계를 가지고 전략적 투자논리는 웹기술확산에 유의한 관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 웹기술흡수가 웹기술확산에 유의한 관계를 가지는 것으로 나타난것은 웹기술흡수는 웹기술확산에 동기적요인이며 따라서 웹기술확산은 웹기술흡수를 통하여 IOS구현을 좀더 용이하게 할 수 있다는 것을 의미한다고 볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

  In contrast to the considerable amount of research effort in the area of traditional information technology systems, including Interorganizational Systems(IOS) and EDI, there has been little empirical research on Web technologies and systems, especially in interorganizational settings. Web technologies and systems, relatively inexpensive and highly flexible, have greatly reduced the switching costs of suppliers and customers. Given the increased usage of Web-based IOS, it is also necessary to ascertain the true impact of this system and to identify the factors that facilitate its assimilation and diffusion. This research tried to find the influence of organizational/strategic factors like partnership, competitive strategy and IT mechanism. The findings suggested that the partnership had a more intensive relationship with the diffusion rather than the assimilation. Moreover, the competitive intensity had a significant relationship with both the assimilation and the diffusion. However, the managerial IT knowledge related only with the assimilation and the strategic investment rationale did the diffusion. Finally, the meaning of the significant connection of the assimilation and the diffusion is that the assimilation is a motive factor to the diffusion; therefore, the diffusion facilitates the IOS implementation through the assimilation.
