  1. CONTENTS
  (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES
  The segmentation of retail market is accomplished by Cluster analysis. The purpose of the research is to identify the market segments with sale prices of retail properties.

  The results of the cluster analysis using sale prices of retail properties data for 25 districts show that Gangnam-Gu belongs to the level of high sale prices in the aptment stores and complex stores. also, Chongno-Gu is quite distinguished from the rest of the districts in theme stores.
  2. RESULTS
  In this research, we try to divide the retail markets in Seoul according to the sales prices per pyeong using cluster analysis. For the complex store sales prices, Seocho-gu. Gangdong-gu. Seodaemun-gu and Jongno-gu are in the high price level group. For the theme store sales prices, only Jung-gu is in the high once level group. For the apartment store sales prices. Gangnam-gu, and Gangseo-gu are in the high price level group.
