국문 초록

본 연구는 최근 활성화되고 있는 기업의 사회공헌활동이 사회복지분야에 상당히 집중되어 있는 것과 관련하여, 기업 자원을 사회복지 분야의 다양한 문제해결에 활용하기 위해 사회복지조직을 중심으로 어떠한 준비와 노력이 필요한지에 주된 관심을 두고 수행되었다. 이러한 배경 하에 본 연구는 우선적으로 현재 우리나라에서 이루어지고 있는 기업 사회공헌활동의 유형과 지원의 규모 및 지원분야, 추진의 방법 등에 대한 명확한 이해를 도모하고자 하였다. 나아가 우리나라 기업 사회공헌활동의 현황에 대한 문헌분석과 간단한 설문조사 및 면접조사 결과에 대한 내용 분석을 통해 주요한 특성들을 도출해 내고 이를 기반으로 한 사회복지 실천적 함의를 제시하였다. 주요 연구결과 우리나라 기업들의 일반적인 사회공헌활동의 특성은 ‘기업 사회공헌활동의 동형화(isomorphism)경향’, ‘전략적 사회공헌활동(strategic corporate philantrophy)의 추진’, ‘기업-민간-정부 파트너십에 의한 추진전략의 다양화’ 등으로 정리될 수 있었다. 한편, 본 연구결과에서는 이와 같은 기업 사회공헌활동의 주요 특성에 대한 이해를 기반으로 하여, 기업의 전략적 사회공헌 추진에 따른 기업과 사회복지분야의 공통의 목표와 프로그램 개발, 일방적 수혜자로서의 사회복지가 아닌 수평적인 기업-사회복지조직의 파트너십에 대한 인식, 개별 기업의 특성과 추진전략에 따른 차별적 접근, 프로그램개발 및 추진능력의 강화와 책임성 향상 등의 사회복지 실천적 함의를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The corporate philantrophy which is activating recently has supported social welfare on the large scale. This study concerns about what is the social welfare organizations called for and how to endeavor to utilize corporate resources for the sake of solving the social problems. In these backgrounds, this study aims to understand about the status of corporate philantrophy―the types of corporate philantrophy, the scale, the scope, etc.―in Korea. Further more, this study aims to suggest implications for social welfare practices on the base of some major characteristics of corporate philantrophy. For the purpose of this study, there were simple survey and case interview carried out. The result of this study, there can be summarized ‘inclination of isomorphism’, ‘driving on corporate strategic philantrophy’, ‘various strategies through Corporate-NGO partnership’. And the result of this study suggested to the social welfare practices as follows: the development of common goals and programs which can be sharing both corporate and social welfare; the re-recognition interactive partnership from one sided recipients welfare; the differentiated approach on the respect to individual characteristics of corporate philantrophy; the increasing accountability for the program implementations.
