국문 초록

본 연구는 0∼2세 발달지체 영아와 그 가족들을 위한 지원 체계를 타당화 하기 위한 목적으로 이루어졌다. 이러한 목적을 위하여 지원 체계의 질적 구성요소들을 도출하고 도출된 구성요소에 대한 타당화를 위하여 5단계 수정된 델파이 방법을 적용하였으며 사회적 타당도를 검증하였다. 연구의 결과로 전문가 협력, 가족-중심의 접근, 진단 및 평가, 교수방법 및 전략, 체제적 지원의 5개 범주에서 55개 문항의 질적 구성요소들이 도출되었으며, 발달지체 영아의 조기 개입과 관련된 전문가 및 조기 개입 서비스 수혜 경험이 있는 부모 231명이 평정한 문항별 중요도 및 실행도 평가에서 사회적 타당도가 입증된 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통하여 한국의 교육 현장의 실태를 반영하고 적용 가능한 지원 체계 개발의 의미와 중요도 및 실행도 평정 결과를 통하여 나타난 현장 적용의 문제점 및 시사점 등이 구체적으로 논의되었으며, 마지막으로 지원 체계의 역동적 특성을 고려하여 지속적인 연구와 현장 적용을 통한 수정의 노력이 있어야 함이 강조되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify and validate program quality indicators in early intervention for infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families. A contextual and participatory process was used to determine a relevant listing of program quality indicators for early intervention service. Five areas and 55 indicators of program quality were identified using the 5-step modified Delphi procedure. To validate these indicators, parents and staff from within 25 institutions implementing early intervention service were asked to indicate their level of agreement with and the frequency of their current use of each 55 items. Surveys received from 231 respondents were analyzed. Ratings from the validation questionnaires indicated high level of agreement accompanied by a lower level of implementation. The results were discussed in terms of implications from the discrepancy between program quality indicators and current use of them and future efforts to translate quality indicators into typical practices for infants and toddlers with developmental delays and their families.
