『특수교육학연구』게재 논문의 내용과 방법에 관한 고찰

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 한국특수교육학회에서 발간하는 전문학술지인 『특수교육학연구』에 발표된 논문들의 연구의 내용과 방법에 대한 고찰을 통하여 우리나라 특수교육 연구의 전반적 동향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 1998년부터 2004년 사이의 『특수교육학연구』에 실린 논문 306편을 연구내용과 연구방법으로 구분하여 양적 분석을 하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다: 첫째, 교육방법/과정, 교사, 진단/평가/검사 및 통합교육에 관한 연구가 전체의 67.7%를 차지하였다; 둘째, 정신지체와 발달지체에 대한 연구가 전체의 49.8%를 차지하였다; 셋째, 조사연구ㆍ문헌연구ㆍ실험연구의 유형이 전체의 86.8%를 차지하였다; 넷째, 우연표집과 목적표집 방법을 적용한 연구가 전체의 88.4%를 차지하였다; 다섯째, 사용한 도구는 90.5%가 비표준화 도구인 것으로 나타났다; 여섯째, 평정자간 신뢰도와 문항내적 합치도에 의해 신뢰도를 검증한 연구가 전체의 77.7%를 차지하였다; 일곱째, 타당도 검증 절차를 거친 논문의 70.2%가 내용타당도를 알아본 것으로 나타났다; 여덟째, 기초통계를 사용한 연구는 85.0%이고 고급통계를 적용한 연구는 4.7%로 나타났다. 특수교육 연구라고 해서 독특한 연구방법이 있는 것은 아니지만, 표집의 어려움으로 인하여 적절한 통계방법을 적용하기 어려운 경우가 많고, 적절한 측정ㆍ검사ㆍ평가ㆍ사정 도구가 많지 않다는 점이 특수교육연구를 어렵게 하는 주요 요인이 되고 있는 것으로 추정되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this article was to identify on a general tendency of special education through review about the contents and methods in articles of Korean Journal of Special Education published by Korean Society for Special Education. For this, 306 articles published in Korean Journal of Special Education from 1998 to 2004 were analysed quantitatively according to the contents and methods. The results of this study were as follows: First, the studies about education method/curriculum, teacher, diagnosis/evaluation/assessment and integrated education took up 67.7% of all; Second, 49.8% of subjects were people with mental retardation and developmental delay; Third, 86.8% of the articles exhibited survey, review articles and experimental research; Fourth, 88.4% of articles applied accidental sampling and purposive sampling; Fifth, 90.5% of the instruments used in articles were nonstandardized; Sixth, 77.7% of articles investigated reliability using methods of inter-rater reliability and internal consistency; Seventh, 80.5% of the articles were analysed validity using method of content validity; Eighth, 85.0% of articles used basic statistics and 4.7% used high class statistics for analysis. Even though there is not particular research method in special education, it is considered that major problems were a hard sampling and lack of adequate instruments for measurement, test, evaluation, and assessment in special education research.
