국문 초록

이 연구는 경도장애 학생들 개개인의 특성이나 요구에 알맞은 교육을 하기 위해서 이들을 개별로 사정하고 그 결과에 준하여 학습과 관련하여 어디서, 무엇을, 어떻게 가르칠 것인지를 경험론적 입장에서 검토해보는데 연구의 목적이 있으며 이를 위해 질적 사례분석 연구 방법을 적용하였다. 선행연구 자료 및 에비 연구 결과를 토대로 경도장애 학생들의 문제중심학습 수업 모형 개발을 했으며 새롭게 만들어진 수업모형을 적용한 수업의 분석을 위해 경도학생들의 학습에 영향을 미치는 요인들의 예로 학생요인, 장애요인, 교사요인. 수업요인, 환경요인으로 분석하였다. 또한 문제중심학습의 대표적인 특징을 학습자 중심, 실생활이 반영된 복잡하고 비구조화된 문제, 협동학습, 자기주도적인 학습활동, 토론중심의 학습, 평가의 다양성 적용 등 7가지로 규명 하여서 학습의 효과성을 분석하였다. 결론적으로 교육적 접근방법인 동시에 문제해결전략으로서의 구성주의에 기초한 문제중심학습의 특징인 비판적(또는 반성적) 사고 기능, 자기 주도적인 학습능력, 협동학습의 기능성이 제고된다는 결과를 보이게 되었다.

영문 초록

Problem-based learning (PBL) based on constructivism is an educational approach in which complex problems serve as the context and the stimulus for learning, which provides students with the opportunity to gain theory, content knowledge, and comprehension. In Addition, PBL students develop advanced cognitive abilities such as critical thinking, problem solving, self-directed learning, cooperative learning, and communication skills. The purpose of this study is to analyze each student with mild disabilities and use the information obtained from the analysis to customize an education program for the student with the consideration of the individual's characteristics and needs. The implications using the method on how teachers teach and learn to teach are enormous. The process is as follows. First of all, reviews of the literature on PBL outcomes were done across multiple studies to find limitations and the positive effects of PBL. Second, a PBL model where students with mild disabilities can actively participate was proposed. Thirdly, a program based on the model was developed and applied to integrated-subjects in the class and the students' reactions and changes were observed. Fourthly, the effects of the PBL program for all 8students with mild disabilities were evaluated continuously with formative assessment and modifications were found to their program. Finally, through a practical case study was conducted to generate conditions for a more effective and efficient class. After applying PBL on students with mild disabilities, an analysis and interpretation was done subject to five major factors(the, student, disabilities, the teacher, the class, the environment) that are related to the affects in classes, and seven characteristics(student-based learning, ill-structured, real-life problems, self-directed learning, reflective and critical thinking, collaborative learning, the discussion learning, the various evaluation perspectives) of PBL. Consequently, the experience of PBL based on constructivism, encouraged the students with mild disabilities to enhance their self-directed learning, reflective and critical thinking, and collaborative learning abilities.
