특수교사의 교사효능감 수준 및 영향 요인 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 장애학생교육의 질적 향상을 위해 특수교사의 교사효능감 수준과 교사효능감에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하는데 있다. 연구대상은 B시 특수교사 224명이었다. 연구 결과, 특수교사의 교사효능감은 비교적 높은 수준이었으나 교사효능감의 하위영역 중 일반적 교수효능감보다 개인적 교수효능감이 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타나 장애학생 교육에 대한 자신의 능력을 높이 지각하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 특수교사의 교사효능감에 영향을 미치는 요인을 상관 분석한 결과 관리자와의 관계, 직무자세, 보수 및 승진, 부모와의 관계, 담당아동의 장애유형, 담당아동의 장애정도의 외적요인과 특수교사의 내적 요인인 경력과 유의미한 상관이 있었으며, 이 중에서 부모와의 관계와 직무자세가 가장 영향을 많이 주는 요인이었다. 그리고 교사효능감의 하위 유형에 따른 영향요인을 살펴보면, 일반적 교수효능감은 보수 및 승진과 직무자세, 장애정도와 같은 외적요인과 특수교사의 경력과 같은 내적요인으로부터 영향을 많이 받았다. 반면, 개인적 교수효능감은 부모의 관계와 직무자세, 학교장과의 관계와 같은 외적요인과 연수경험의 내적 요인으로부터 많은 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과, 특수교사의 교사효능감은 외적인 요인에 영향을 더 많이 받는 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 사실은 특수교사들을 둘러싸고 있는 상황 특수성을 잘 통제하고 지원해 줄 경우, 특수교사의 교사효능감이 높아지고 그 결과 장애학생을 위한 특수교육의 효과를 극대화할 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the level of special education teachers' sense of efficacy, to find out teacher's inner and outer variables that make difference teacher efficacy and to explore variables influencing on teacher efficacy. In this study, 224 special education teachers of special and general school located in B city. They completed instrument consisting of general teaching efficacy and personal teaching efficacy. The result of this study can be summarized as follows: First, the mean of GTE(general teaching efficacy) is 3.39 and PTE(personal teaching efficacy) is 3.46. Special education teachers have a middle and upper level of GTE, PTE. Second, The efficacy of special education teachers are meaningful related with relationship with officer, working attitude, salary and promotion opportunity, parents relationship, condition and severity of disability statistically. Third, with respect to teacher's inner characteristic variables, amount of working experience and outer characteristic variables, salary and promotion opportunity, working attitude, severity of disability are found as a imperative in teacher's GTE. Otherwise, teacher's inner characteristic variables, amount of in-service program, and outer characteristic variables, salary and promotion opportunity, relationship with parents, condition and severity of disability are found as a imperative in teacher's PTE.
