국문 초록

이 연구는 부분점수모형에 근거한 적합도가 실제 교육 현장에서 적절히 활용될 수 있는지 알아보기 위해서 특정 학력검사의 각 문항과 개별 학생에 대한 교사의 전문적 판단과의 상호 관련성을 분석한 것이다. 연구 대상은 서울시내 초등학교 6학년 9개 학급의 담임교사와 학생 321명이었다. 검사도구는 6학년 1학기 수학과 교육과정에 해당하는 20개의 서술형 문항으로 구성된 학력검사로 각 문항은 풀이 과정 및 결과에 따라 부분점수가 부여되었으며 만점은 50점이었다. 아울러 각 문항과 개별 학생에 대한 교사의 전문적 판단을 측정하기 위해 설문지가 사용되었으며, 각 반응은 1~4점으로 채점되었다. 자료분석 결과, 부분점수모형의 문항 적합도와 각 문항에 대한 교사의 전문적 판단 간에는 유의미한 상관이 있었으며, 피험자 적합도와 개별 학생에 대한 교사의 전문적 판단 간에도 유의미한 상관이 있었다. 요컨대, 이 연구가 제한된 범위에서 시행된 것이어서 일반화하기에 다소 어려움이 있으나, 교육현장에서 교사가 전문적으로 판단하기 어려운 경우, 즉 담당 학생 수가 지나치게 많거나, 문항에 대한 충분한 검토 시간이 부족할 때에는 부분점수모형의 적합도를 활용하여 교사의 판단을 대치 혹은 보완할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is to investigate the usability of fit-statistics of the Partial Credit Model(PCM). For this research, an achievement test for the 6th grade mathematics was developed. It consists of 20 polytomous response items and its total scores ranged from 0 to 50. The subjects of the study were 321 sixth grade students at 9 classrooms within 3 elementary schools. 9 classroom teachers also made their judgments for each item of the test and for each student in their own classroom. The Pearson's correlation analysis was undertaken for verifying their inter-relationship between the classroom teachers' judgments and fit-statistics for items and for students. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, there is a significant relationship between classroom teachers' judgments and item fit-statistics for each item. In other words, classroom teachers' judgments for each item of the test are similar to the item-fit statistics of the PCM. Second, there is a significant relationship between classroom teachers' judgments and person fit-statistics for each student. In other words, classroom teachers' judgments for each student in their own classroom are similar to the person-fit statistics of the PCM. Therefore fit-statistics of the PCM might supplement or replace classroom teachers' judgments, specially in cases that classroom teachers can't make their own judgments because there are too many students in their own classroom or there is a shortage of time to investigate test items.
