영문 초록

This paper attempts to make a coherent statement of what lexical phrases are. While the study of lexical phrases has received great attention in theory and practice, the itself has different meanings for different groups of researchers. This paper reviews past theoretical work and provides an idea of what major issues have been raised. I characterize lexical phrases and present a criterion for identification for lexical phrases.
