자아존중감, 우울 및 SNS 중독 경향성의 관계: 자기 자비의 조절된 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 자아존중감과 SNS 중독 경향성의 관계에서 우울이 매개할 때, 자기 자비가 조절된 매개효과를 가지는지 알아보았다. 이를 위해 경상남도 소재의 대학교에 재학 중인 대학생 374명을 대상으로 자아존중감, 자기 자비, 우울, SNS 중독 경향성 척도가 포함된 설문 조사를 실행하였으며, SPSS 27, PROCESS Macro 프로그램을 통해 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자아존중감과 자기 자비, 우울과 SNS 중독 경향성은 정적 상관이 있었고, 자아존중감과 우울, SNS 중독 경향성의 관계와 자기 자비와 우울, SNS 중독 경향성의 관계에서는 부적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 자아존중감과 SNS 중독 경향성의 관계에서 우울은 완전매개효과를 가졌다, 셋째, 자아존중감과 우울, 우울과 SNS 중독 경향성의 관계에서 자기 자비가 조절효과를 가졌다. 넷째, 자아존중감과 SNS 중독 경향성의 관계에서 우울이 매개효과를 가질 때, 자기 자비는 자아존중감과 우울, 우울과 SNS 중독 경향성 양쪽의 경로에서 조절효과를 가졌다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 한계점 및 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study examined whether self-compassion has a moderated mediating effect in the relationship between self-esteem and SNS addiction tendency, with depression serving as a mediator. A survey was conducted with 374 college students from a university in Gyeongsangnam-do, utilizing scales for self-esteem, self-compassion, depression, and SNS addiction tendency. Data were analyzed using SPSS 27 and PROCESSS Macro. The results were as follows: First, there were positive correlations between self-esteem, self-compassion, depression, and SNS addiction tendency. However, self-esteem, depression, and SNS addiction tendency, as well as self-compassion, depression, and SNS addiction tendency, showed negative correlations. Second, depression fully mediated the relationship between self-esteem SNS addiction tendency. Third, self-compassion had a moderating effect in the relationship between self-esteem and depression, as well as between depression and SNS addiction tendency. Fourth, the moderating effect of self-compassion was not significant in the relationship between self-esteem and SNS addiction tendency. Finally, depression mediated the relationship between self-esteem and SNS addiction tendency, with self-compassion exerting a moderating effect on the pathways from self-esteem to depression and from depression to SNS addiction tendency. Based on these findings, the study’s immplications, limiations, and directions for future research are discussed.
