한국과 프랑스의 산업발전에 따른 중등직업교육 변화 비교 분석

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 한국과 프랑스의 시기별 산업발전에 따른 중등직업교육의 변화를 비교 분석하여 한국의 중등직업교육 개선 방향을 모색하는 데 있다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 교육훈련 분야 비교연구 방법 중 상황적 분석 방법 등을 기초로 비교 분석 틀을 구안하였다. 분석 기준은 변화 시기와 변화 과정 측면, 관계성 측면으로 설정하였다. 변화 시기는 근대화 산업 이후 한국과 프랑스의 주요 정권별로 비교하였으며, 분석 변화 과정 측면은 한국과 프랑스의 산업발전과 중등직업교육의 변화를 비교 분석하였다. 관계성 측면은 한국과 프랑스의 산업발전과 중등직업교육의 관계로 설정하여 복합적인 요소들을 상호관계 측면에서 비교 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국과 프랑스는 유사한 산업발전 단계를 경험하였고 산업화 시기마다 필요한 인력을 적절하게 공급하기 위해 중등직업교육을 확대 및 강화하였다. 둘째, 산업구조의 고도화로 중등직업교육의 성격이 완성교육에서 계속교육으로 전환되었고 진로교육의 중요성이 대두됨에 따라 생애진로 경로에 따른 진로 교육 체제를 강화하였다. 셋째, 중앙집권적 성격이 강한 국가일수록 정부에 의해 산업발전 계획에 따라 중등직업교육의 방향성이 결정되는 특징이 있다. 넷째, 기술혁신과 산업발전은 사회․경제적, 문화적, 교육적 동인이 되어 상호작용하며, 중등직업교육은 직업적 기술 및 지식을 학습하여 사회구성원으로 성장할 수 있도록 직업세계로의 이행을 돕는 역할을 담당한다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 도출한 한국의 중등직업교육의 발전을 위한 방안은 첫째, 산업체와의 숙의를 통한 중등직업 교육과정 개발, 둘째, 중등직업교육 졸업생의 안정적인 고용시장 진입 가능 정책 마련, 셋째, 전공별 전문교과 교원 확보, 넷째, 진로지도의 확대이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to comprehensively compare and analyze how secondary vocational education in Korea and France has developed in response to industrial development, and to explore the direction of improvement of secondary vocational education in Korea. To achieve the research objective, a situational analysis method was adopted from the international comparative research method in the field of education and training, and a comparative analysis framework was formulated. In the comparative analysis framework, the analysis criteria were set as the change process aspect and the relationship aspect, and the comparative analysis content in the change process aspect was set as the change in industrial development and secondary vocational education in Korea and France, and the comparative analysis content in the relationship aspect was set as the relationship between industrial development and secondary vocational education, and the two countries were compared from the perspective of the interrelationship of complex elements. The research results are as follows. First, Korea and France experienced similar industrial development stages, and expanded and strengthened secondary vocational education in order to appropriately supply the necessary human resources at each industrialization period. Second, as the industrial structure became more advanced, the nature of secondary vocational education changed from completion education to continuing education, and as the importance of career education rose, the career education system according to lifelong career paths was strengthened. Third, the more centralized a country is, the more the government decides the direction of secondary vocational education based on its industrial development plan.
