잠재프로파일 분석을 통한 정서전염성향의 유형 분류와 집단 예측요인 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 잠재프로파일 분석(latent profile analysis)을 통해 정서전염 민감도에 있어서 서로 다른 패턴을 보이는 잠재 집단을 탐색하고 공감관련 변인들(공감적 관심, 자비, 내수용자각)과 심리적 디스트레스 변인들(직무소진, 우울, 불안)이 각 프로파일 집단 구분에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 조사하는 것이다. 총 521명의 연구 참여자에 대한 자료가 수집되어 성별, 연령, 직군을 통제하고 잠재프로파일 분석을 실시하여 잠재적 집단을 추정한 결과, 5개의 집단이 도출되었다. 집단의 명칭은 집단 구분 변인들의 특징에 따라 각각 ⓵ 낮은 부정정서전염 집단, ⓶ 둔감 집단, ⓷ 일반 집단, ⓸ 자기비난 정서전염 집단, ⓹ 타인조망 정서전염 집단으로 정하였다. 이중, 심리적 중재를 위한 시사점을 지니고 있다고 판단된 ⓶ 둔감 집단과 ⓸ 자기비난 정서전염 집단 및 ⓹ 타인조망 정서전염 집단의 세 가지 쌍 집단에 대해 로지스틱 회귀분석을 통한 집단 간 비교분석을 실시하였다, 분석 결과, 공감적 관심은 둔감 집단과 정서전염 집단을 구분하는 요인이었으며 둔감 집단 및 자기비난 정서전염 집단 대 타인조망 정 서전염 집단을 구분하는 요인은 자비로 나타났다. 또한 심리적 디스트레스 변인으로서 직무소진은 둔감 집단 및 자기비난 정서전염 집단 대 타인조망 정서전염 집단을 구분하는 요인이었다. 정서전염 현상과 관련하여 공감적 관심, 자비 및 직무소진이 의미 있는 심리적 중재 요인이 될 수 있음이 시사되었으며 아울러 본 연구의 제한점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to explore the latent classes exhibiting different patterns of susceptibility to emotional contagion through latent profile analysis. Additionally, It examined the effects of empathy-related predictors (empathic concern, compassion, interoceptive awareness) and psychological distress-related predictors (job burnout, depression, anxiety) that influence these latent classes. The analysis utilized data from 521 individuals, controlling for gender, age, and occupation. The latent profile analysis identified five latent classes: ⓵ Low Negative Emotional Contagion, ⓶ Desensitized, ⓷ Normal, ⓸ Self-Critical Emotional Contagion, and ⓹ Perspective Taking Emotional Contagion. Classes ⓶⓸ and ⓹ were deemed to have significant implications for psychological interventions. Pairwise comparisons between these groups were analyzed using a logistic regression model. The analysis revealed that empathic concern was a distinguishing factor for the Desensitized class compared to the emotional contagion classes. Compassion was found to differentiate both the Desensitized and Self-Critical Emotional Contagion classes from The Perspective Taking Emotional Contagion class. Among the psychological distress variables, job burnout was a factor distinguishing the Desensitized and Self-Critical Emotional Contagion classes from the Perspective Taking Emotional Contagion class. The findings suggested that empathic concern, compassion, and job burnout could serve as meaningful psychological mediators of emotional contagion. The results were discussed in terms of implications and limitations.
