중학생이 지각한 부모의 부정적 양육태도가 우울에 미치는 영향: 사회적 위축, 친구 관계, 교사 관계의 다중매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 청소년 우울 문제에 대한 심층적인 이해를 위해 중학생 자녀가 지각한 부모의 부정적 양육태도가 우울에 미치는 영향과 이를 매개하는 변인으로 사회적 위축, 친구 관계 및 교사 관계의 영향을 종합적으로 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구가설 검증을 위해 한국 아동·청소년 패널조사 2018(KCYPS 2018)의 중학교 1학년 패널 2,590명의 1차 조사 데이터를 사용하여 구조방정식 모형을 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 살펴봤을 때 중학생이 지각한 부모의 부정적 양육태도와 우울 간 관계에서 사회적 위축의 매개효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 중학생이 지각한 부정적 양육태도와 우울 간 관계에서 사회적 위축과 친구 관계 및 교사 관계의 다중매개효과 또한 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 교육 및 상담 현장과 지역사회에서 청소년 우울 문제를 예방하고 개입할 수 있는 방안들에 대한 논의를 제시하였다. 그리고 본 연구의 제한점 및 후속연구를 위한 제언, 의의를 기술하였다.

영문 초록

This study examines the impact of middle school students' perceived negative parenting attitudes on depression and the mediating variables of social withdrawal, peer relationships, and teacher relationships to gain an understanding of adolescent depression. Structural equation modeling was employed for analysis using data from the 2018 Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS 2018) with 2,590 first-year middle school students. The results indicate that the mediating effect of social withdrawal in the relationship between middle school students' perceived negative parenting attitudes and depression was significant. Moreover, multiple mediating effects of social withdrawal, peer relationships, and teacher relationships were also significant in the relationship between middle school students' perceived negative parenting attitudes and depression. Based on these findings, discussions on preventive measures and interventions for adolescent depression in educational and counseling settings and local communities are provided, along with suggestions and implications for the limitations of this study and future research.
