리빙랩의 고등교육 ODA 가능성 탐색: 베트남 T대학 리빙랩 사례를 중심으로

국문 초록

연구목적: 이 연구의 목적은 리빙랩을 통한 고등교육 분야 국제개발협력의 새로운 모델 개발 가능성을 탐구하는 것이다. 특히, 대학 리빙랩 수업이 학생 참여를 중심으로 지역문제 해결에 어떻게 기여할 수 있는지를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 본 연구는 베트남 뚜옌꽝성 T 대학의 회계학과 전공수업 을 사례로 하여 교수와 학생의 진술을 설문과 발표를 통해 분석하였다. 이를 통해 리빙랩 모델의 적용 사례를 심층적으로 조사하였다. 연구결과: 리빙랩 모델을 고등교육 ODA에 적용할 경우, 첫째, 지역사회 혁신에 참여하는 학생과 교수의 혁신 역량을 강화하고, 지역사회에 대한 몰입을 높여 대학 ODA의 장기적 효과를 증진시킬 수 있음을 발견하였다. 둘째, 수원국과 공여국 대학 간의 국제교류를 통해 교수의 교수법 개선과 학생의 전공 및 교양 지식의 실제 적용 효과를 확인하였다. 논의 및 결론: 리빙랩이 고등교육 ODA 모델로서 지역사회 혁신과 학생 참여를 촉진하는 유의미한 접근 방식이 될 수 있음을 입증하였다. 이 모델은 학생과 교수의 혁신 역량을 키우고, 지역사회 문제 해결에 직접적으로 기여함으로써, 고등교육의 사회적 가치와 국제개발협력의 효과를 동시에 증진시킬 수 있다. 따라서, 리빙랩은 고등교육 분야에서 지역사회 혁신과 국제 협력을 위한 효과적인 전략으로 활용될 수 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study explores the potential for developing a new model of international development cooperation in the field of higher education through Living Labs. In particular, it aims to analyze how university Living Lab courses can contribute to solving local problems with a focus on student participation. Method: This study analyzed the statements of professors and students through surveys and presentations, using the accounting major course "International Economics" at T University as a case study, focusing on the local community of Thuyên Quang Province in Vietnam. Through this, an in-depth investigation of the application cases of the Living Lab model was conducted. Results: When applying the Living Lab model to higher education Official Development Assistance (ODA), firstly, it was discovered that it enhances the innovation capacity of students and professors who participate in local community innovation, and increases their engagement with the local community. Eventually, this can enhance the long-term effectiveness of university ODA. Secondly, it was confirmed that there are improvements in teaching methods for professors and practical application effects of both major and general knowledge for students through international exchange between donor and recipient universities. Conclusion: The Living Lab model has been proven to be a meaningful approach as a higher education ODA model, promoting local community innovation and student participation. This model enhanced the innovation capacity of both students and professors. By directly contributing to solve local community issues, it can simultaneously enhance the social value of higher education and the effectiveness of international development cooperation. Therefore, Living Labs can be effectively utilized as a strategic tool for fostering local community innovation and international cooperation in the field of higher education.
